Misko wins hammer throw in weather-shortened Gwynedd Mercy meet
GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA (April 14, 2022) – With rainy, stormy weather sweeping through the area here Thursday, the Gwynedd Mercy Midweek Twilight Invitational was cancelled shortly after it started.
Only two events were played out, and in the lone event that had a member of the Rutgers University-Camden track team competing, senior
Jude Misko continued his season-long dominance in the hammer throw.
Misko finished first of seven hammer throwers with a distance of 60.19 meters. He finished nearly nine meters ahead of the second-place finisher.
Misko has thrown over 60 meters in all four of his meets this season.
The only other event completed was the women's 400-meter hurdles.
The Scarlet Raptors return to action next Friday and Saturday, April 22-23, at the Widener Invitational in Chester, Pennsylvania.
