CHESTER, PA (April 23, 2022) – Freshman Tobias Prall broke his own Rutgers University-Camden men's track record in the long jump as the Scarlet Raptors competed here Saturday on the final day of the Widener Invitational.

Prall's leap of 6.64 meters broke the mark of 6.60 meters he set April 2 at the Danny Curran Invitational, which also was held at Widener University. Prall finished second out of 14 athletes with his record-setting jump.

Scarlet Raptor senior Jude Misko continued his dominant season in the hammer throw, finishing first of 26 athletes with a distance of 61.33 meters. He finished nearly five meters ahead of the second-place competitor.

In the women's hammer throw, senior Emily Hilt finished third of 28 athletes (49.06 meters), while sophomore Alexis Marini placed 11th (39.36 meters).

Freshman Evelyn Macias finished 32nd of 74 in the 200-meter dash (27.65) and 39th of 68 in the 100-meter dash (13.66). On the men's side, freshman Devin Bennett had a pair of strong performances, placing 41st of 75 at 100 meters (11.99) and 65th of 94 at 200 meters (24.56).

Sophomore Lizette Abah was 18th of 37 in the long jump (4.44 meters) and also finished 66th in the 200-meter dash (31.19).

Senior Christopher Townsend placed 36th out of 92 runners at 800 meters (2:00.46), while junior Jason Hyland finished 59th of 89 athletes in the 1,500-meter run (4:20.58).

Freshman Ken Komatsu finished eighth of 12 athletes in the pole vault (4.00 meters).

The Scarlet Raptors will have a busy final week of the regular season next week, with some members participating in the Penn Relays and the team heading to the Lions Invitational Friday and Saturday at The College of New Jersey.
