LEBANON, Penn. (Oct. 20, 2023) – The Rutgers University-Camden women's cross country team finished eighth of 12 squads and the Scarlet Raptor men were 15th of 16 as the teams competed in the Last Chance Run Fast Invitational here Friday at Union Canal Tunnel Park.
 
The meet, hosted by Lebanon Valley College, saw Navy sweep the top five spots in both races to win the team titles. The Rutgers-Camden women finished with 235 points, while the men compiled 387 points.
 
Navy's Lexi Ensor won the 91-woman 6K race in a time of 23:28.98, while Navy's Sean Miller finished first in a field of 144 runners in the 8K race, posting a time of 25:53.51.
 
Sophomore co-captain Isabella Bordon led the Rutgers-Camden women with her top time of the season, finishing 45th with a 28:54.05 clocking. Graduate student co-captain David Morrow was the top runner for the Scarlet Raptor men, placing 88th overall in a time of 31:42.46.
 
Freshman Lindsay Lopez Trejo finished second on the women's team and 59th overall with a PR of 30:47.81, while junior co-captain Alexa Wilson also posted a PR to finish third on the team and 68th overall in a 32:36.49 clocking.
 
Freshman Tiffany Chan notched a 33:11.39 time to finish fourth on the women's team and 69th overall, while senior Carly Malia finished fifth for the women and 77th overall with a time of 36:25.32. Freshman Mya Cabanas Montero rounded out the women's team and finished 80th overall with a PR of 39:42.98.
 
On the men's side, grad student co-captain Migel Angel Gisone finished second on the team and 105th overall with a time of 33:00.81. Sophomore Walter Pierce was third on the Raptors and 116th overall in 34:20.38, followed by freshman Angel Chaj, who posted a 44:52.21 clocking to finish 141st. Sophomore Maurice Obanor rounded out the men's team and finished 144th overall in 52:46.77.

The Scarlet Raptors will run in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships Oct. 28 at Stockton University.
