Walker leads Raptor golfers at Lebanon Valley Invitational
ANNVILLE, Penn. (March 25, 2024) –Rutgers University-Camden sophomore
Reid Walker tied for 14th in a field of 88 golfers and the Scarlet Raptors opened their spring season shooting a 334 score to finish ninth out of 17 teams at the Lebanon Valley Invitational here Monday.
The event was held at the Par 72, 6,564-yard Lebanon Country Club.
Albright College and Hood College tied for first place with scores of 311, while the Raptors finished three strokes behind eighth-place Dickinson (331).
Will Kujawa and Tanner Leonard, both of Hood College, led all golfers, both shooting an even par 72.
Walker tied for 14th place, carding a 79 in his first outing of the spring. Freshman
Aiden Riley tied for 33rd with a round of 84, one stroke ahead of sophomore teammate
Pearse Lee, who shot an 85 to tie for 40th place. Freshman
Santino Leone carded an 86 to tie for 51st place, while sophomore
Walter Pierce shot a 103 to finish 87th.
The Scarlet Raptors return to action Wednesday when they compete in the Albright Spring Invitational, held at the Galen Hall Golf Club in Wernersville, Penn.
