CAMDEN, N.J. (Nov. 11, 2025) – The Rutgers University-Camden Athletic Department and its student-athletes are so much more than just a NCAA Division 3 program and members of the New Jersey Athletic Conference.

The Scarlet Raptors also are active in the Camden community, and they were recognized for their efforts recently.

Rutgers-Camden, spearheaded by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), was named the 2025 Christmas Partner of the Year by the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Camden. The award recognized the Scarlet Raptors' efforts during the 2024 holiday season for contributing to the Kroc Center's annual toy drive.

Rutgers-Camden teams donated over 500 toys to the 2024 Kroc Center toy drive, with the Scarlet Raptors' softball and cross country/track & field teams being the most prominent contributors.

The Scarlet Raptors will be participating in the Kroc Center Toy Drive again this semester by collecting toys at all remaining home games of the calendar year.
