Dinerman earns pair of All-NJAC indoor track honors
CAMDEN, N.J. (March 5, 2025) – When Rutgers University-Camden student-athlete
Jacob Dinerman earned a pair of All-New Jersey Athletic Conference honors at the recent NJAC Indoor Track & Field Championships he accomplished feats that hadn't been seen in the program for years.
Dinerman was recognized for his accomplishments today when the NJAC released its All-Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field team. Dinerman earned NJAC First Team honors for capturing the conference championship in the mile run. He added NJAC Second Team recognition for finishing second at 3,000 meters during the two-day conference meet Feb. 22-23.
Dinerman posted a time of 4:11.39 while finishing first in the 18-athlete field of the mile run. He also finished second of 15 runners at 3,000 meters with a PR of 8:41.01. He became the first Scarlet Raptor to win an NJAC indoor track championship since Jude Misko won his second weight throw title at the 2022 meet.

Dinerman's double NJAC honors made him the first Rutgers-Camden athlete to earn a pair of All-Conference honors at the indoor meet since Emily Hilt finished second in both the shot put and weight throw at the 2022 championships. Hilt was the NJAC champion in the shot put and finished third in the weight throw at the 2020 indoor meet.
Among male athletes, the last time Rutgers-Camden had a double NJAC honoree at the indoor meet came in 2018 when Cameron Dobbins was the conference champion in both the 60- and 200-meter dashes.
Dinerman's NJAC First Team honor in the mile also gave him another distinction. Following his fall season as an All-NJAC First Team cross country runner, he became only the second Rutgers-Camden student-athlete to earn NJAC First Team cross country honors and an NJAC indoor track championship in the same school year. During the 2008-09 year, Travis Stewart captured NJAC First Team honors in cross country before winning the conference indoor title in the 3,000-meter run.
During the 2024-25 indoor season, Dinerman set the Rutgers-Camden indoor track record in the mile. He ran a 4:10.92 time on Feb. 7 at the FastTrack National Invitational.
Dinerman will continue his indoor season Saturday when he runs the mile at the Tufts National Qualifying Meet. The event will be held at the Gantcher Family Sports and Convocation Center at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
