Dinerman ends season in 800 meters at Widener Final Qualifier meet
CHESTER, N.J. (May 12, 2025) – Rutgers University-Camden junior
Jacob Dinerman (Haddon Township, NJ/Haddon Township) set his PR in the 800-meter run as he competed here Monday in the Widener Final Qualifier meet.
Dinerman, trying to qualify for the NCAA championships, posted a time of 1:51.91, besting his previous time of 1:53.95, as he finished 11th out of 83 runners in the event. Although his time nearly caught the Rutgers-Camden program record of 1:51.54, set by Mike Fox in 2008, it was only good to move him up to a tie for 48th place on this season's NCAA performance chart for 800 meters.
Dinerman ended his stellar scholastic year as a New Jersey Athletic Conference First Team performer during all three of his seasons, beginning with cross country and moving on to indoor track (mile) and outdoor track (1,500 meters).
