Watson leads Raptor throwers at Widener Indoor Classic

Dyheim Watson competed in both the shot put and the weight throw and senior
Kayla Franklin and freshman
Asha Pensa Johnson competed in the shot put as the Rutgers University-Camden indoor track team throwers kicked off the two-day Widener Indoor Classic here Friday.
Watson had a shot put of 12.11 meters to finish 36th of 45 athletes and his weight throw of 14.66 meters placed him 18th out of 48 athletes.
Franklin's shot put of 10.90 meters placed her 24th out of 47. Pensa Johnson also competed in the shot put, but fouled on her attempts.
The second day of the Widener Indoor Classic, which features the majority of the events, will be held at the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday.
