Pearse Lee (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) has had another outstanding year for the Rutgers University-Camden golf team, and Lee was honored today when the United East Conference released its latest weekly honors.
Lee was named the United East Golfer of the Week for his performance on Thursday at the Susquehanna University Spring Invitational. He shot a 5-over par 75 at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club to finish second – by one stroke – in a field of 48 golfers.
Lee's performance helped Rutgers-Camden post a 315 team score to finish second in a field of nine teams. Susquehanna's A team won the event with a 309 score.
Lee averaged 78.8 in four rounds for the Scarlet Raptors during the fall semester and is averaging 76.4 in five rounds this spring. During his four-year career at Rutgers-Camden, Lee has an average of 80.4 in 41 rounds.
Today's United East Golfer of the Week is Lee's second weekly conference honor during his career. He also was the United East Golfer of the Week on April 9, 2024. He has been a two-time medalist at Rutgers-Camden's annual fall invitational (2023, 2024) and has been the medalist once at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational.
Lee also earned United East Third Team honors in the spring of 2025 and was a member of the Lancaster Bible All-Tournament First Team that same semester.
