PHILADELPHIA, Penn. (April 24, 2026) – The Rutgers University-Camden men's sprint medley team set a program record as the Scarlet Raptors ran five relays here Friday at the Penn Relays.

The team of freshmen Oluwatobi Popoola and Kamari Brown, sophomore Kristopher Ewell and junior Jacob Dinerman finished 18th of 25 in the sprint medley while competing against numerous Division I and II teams. They posted a time of 3:29.24 to break the record of 3:34.82, which was set March 24, 2012, at the Monmouth Season Opener by Lance Booker, Jovanni Walker, Matt Curtis and Jason Kendall.

Ewell and Brown also joined sophomore Caleb Crosby and freshman Eric Lei on the Raptors' 4x100 team, which finished 14th of 19 in a time of 43.39. Popoola, Dinerman and Ewell, meanwhile, joined senior Walter Pierce on the 4x400 relay team, which finished 14th of 20 in a time of 3:23.87.

The women's 4x100, comprised of senior Deleon Benjamin, junior Sydnie Marshall and freshmen Talia Thomasson and Sofia Tabet, placed 18th of 20 in a time of 52.03. That same quartet finished 15th of 16 in the 4x400 in a time of 4:20.53.

The full Rutgers-Camden track team will compete May 2 and 3 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held at Ramapo College.
