TOWSON, Md. – The Rutgers-Camden women's soccer team ran its unbeaten streak to four on Friday night, blanking Goucher 2-0 in non-conference play.
Gianna Simon and Maddy Jacobs scored in the win, and the Scarlet Raptors are now 3-0-1 to start the season, their best start since 2023.
Owning a 20-5 edge in shots, Simon scored her first goal of the game unassisted at 51:29, with Jacobs scoring her goal at 65:55 on an assist by Asia Horne.
That was all goalkeeper Grace Ludwick needed, as she made four saves in collecting her first career win in goal.
Rutgers-Camden will be off till Wednesday, when they travel to Washington College.
