Biography

        A former star at Gloucester County College, Jeff Bash earned three Rutgers-Camden letters during the 2013-14 scholastic year, participating in cross country, indoor and outdoor track. He returns to the cross country program this fall.
 
Outdoor Track 2014: Competed in seven meets and earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Honorable Mention, finishing third out of 10 in the 10,000-meter run (33:50.85) at the NJAC Championships May 3…The next day he finished 13th of 20 in the 5,000-meter run (16:20.74) at the conference meet…Ran distances from 1,500-10,000 meters during the season, in addition to competing on a pair of 4x400 relay teams…Finished eighth of 16 at 3,000 meters (9:37.82) at the Stockton Invitational (March 22) and fourth of 15 at 1,500 meters (4:19.10) at the WCU Open (April 25).1181
 
Indoor Track 2013-14: Competed in four indoor meets, running four different events…Ran both the 3,000-meter run and the 4x800 twice, while also competing in the mile and at 5,000 meters…Set his indoor personal bests in both the mile (4:59.26) and the 4x800 (8:41.54) at the Monmouth Winter Invitational (Feb. 8)…Had a personal best of 9:40.35 at 3,000 meters at the Blue-White Invitational (Jan. 11), finishing 10th of 16…Two weeks later finished eighth of 22 at 3,000 meters with a time of 9:45.18 at the LVC Invitational (Jan. 25)…Finished ninth of 18 with his personal best of 16:22.45 at 5,000 meters during the NJAC Championships (March 1).
 
1427Cross Country 2013: Competed in seven meets to earn his first varsity letter at Rutgers-Camden…Named team’s Most Dedicated runner…Was the Raptors’ No. 2 runner on four occasions and No. 3 man in his other three meets…Opened the season with an 18:34 clocking at the 5K Bryn Mawr Invite (Sept. 7), finishing third on the team and 13th overall out of 48 runners…In his first of six straight 8K races at Rutgers-Camden, notched a 29:38.6 clocking at the Roadrunner Invitational (Sept. 14), finishing third on the Raptors and 71st of 129 overall…Was the Raptors’ No. 2 runner and placed 21st of 100 at the Osprey Open (Sept. 21) in a time of 28:52.80…Posted a 29:21 clocking and finished 131st of 333, and third on the team, at the Paul Short Run (Oct. 5)…Started a three-meet streak to finish the season where he was the Raptors’ second-leading runner in each outing when he finished 36th overall of 99 at the CTC Championships on Oct. 19 (28:26)…Finished 38th of 91 at the NJAC Championships (Nov. 2), recording a 28:54.7 clocking…Finished 140th of 275 at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals (Nov. 16) with his Raptor personal-best 8K time of 27:38.7.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Earned a pair of letters in both track and cross country at Gloucester County College…Academic All-American in cross country…Finished third in the 5K at the district meet during the 2011 cross country season and third in the 10K during 2012 spring track season…Placed sixth in the 10K at nationals during his sophomore season in 2012.
 
High School: Captured three varsity soccer letters apiece in cross country and bowling and added two in track at Hammonton High School…Graduated in 2010…National Honor Society.
