A two-time All-North Eastern Athletic Conference player, Nick Baird has led the Scarlet Raptors to two NEAC titles and two berths in the NCAA Division III Golf Championship during his two spring semesters at Rutgers-Camden. After his finest semester with the Scarlet Raptors last fall, Baird returns this spring in a bid to lead Rutgers-Camden to another NCAA berth.

Spring 2013: Competed in eight rounds over six matches…Averaged 82.9, the fourth-best average on the team…Made his Raptor debut shooting an 89 to finish fourth on the team and 17th of 32 overall at the Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 13)…Playing for the Raptors’ B team, he shot an 89 against Richard Stockton (April 3, tied for second on the B team and tied for 17th of 23) and carded an 83 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational (April 12, third on the B team and tied for 32nd of 87 overall)…By the time the NEAC Championships followed around on April 26-27, he had cracked the starting lineup and finished third on the team with a two-day total of 75-82-157, good for third on the Raptors and tied for seventh of 34 overall…He helped the Raptors win their third NEAC title in five years and earned NEAC Second Team honors…Was the overall medalist out of 10 golfers, shooting a 76 in a dual match against Penn State-Abington (May 2)…Finished third on the Raptors at the NCAA Division III Golf Championship (May 14-15)…His two-day total of 87-82-169 placed him tied for 171st of 210 overall.
