Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A three-year letterwinner with the Rutgers-Camden women’s soccer program, Liz DiCamillo notched her first two career victories last season, while continuing her outstanding academic success. She is a two-time New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention student and has been a member of four Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll lists.
 
In five career games in goal, DiCamillo owns a 2-2 record, a 2.24 goals-against average and a .640 save percentage, while making 16 total saves.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention, 2016-17 and 2017-18 scholastic years; Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll 2016 Spring, 2016 Fall, 2017 Fall and 2018 Spring semesters.
 
Soccer 2017: Started a pair of games, playing the entire 90 minutes and earning her first two collegiate victories…Made five saves, allowed two goals (1.00 goals-against average) and faced 11 shots…Notched her first win during a 5-1 victory over Rosemont College (Sept. 13), facing five shots and making three saves…Posted a 4-1 victory at Lancaster Bible College (Oct. 4), facing six shots and making two saves.
 
Soccer 2016: Appeared in one game for the Scarlet Raptors…Played 1:15 in goal, subbing for Gurba, during a 3-1 win over Ramapo College (Oct. 1)…Didn’t face any shots.
 
Soccer 2015: Appeared in two games, starting both and playing the full 90 minutes…Compiled a 0-2 record and a 3.50 goals-against average, facing 30 shots, making 11 saves and allowing seven goals…Had a .611 save percentage…Made her collegiate debut in a 2-1 loss to Mount St. Mary (Sept. 12), facing 11 shots and allowing two goals, while making four saves…Faced 19 shots against nationally-ranked Montclair State University (Oct. 17) in a 5-0 loss, making seven saves and allowing five goals.
 
High School: Captured four varsity soccer letters at Triton Regional High School and added one letter in track…Earned All-Conference Honorable Mention in soccer during her senior season…Graduated in 2015.
 
Club Team: TBAA Wildcats.
 
Personal: Elizabeth “Liz” DiCamillo…Born July 24, 1997…Last name pronounced “Dee-cah-mill-oh”…Hobbies include mountaineering, fishing, camping, hiking and spending time with family, friends and her cats…Criminal Justice major at Rutgers-Camden…Plans to pursue a second degree in Nursing through the Rutgers-Camden Accelerated Nursing Program…Elizabeth is the daughter of Michael and Debbie DiCamillo of Blackwood.
