Dannie Dinsfriend will earn her fourth letter with the Rutgers-Camden softball program this spring. She has served the Scarlet Raptors in numerous capacities, in addition to her talents as a pitcher. Dinsfriend also has appeared at first base, third base and designed player during her Scarlet Raptor career. She owns a 3-4 record and a 3.93 ERA in 24 career pitching appearances (seven starts), while compiling a .259 batting average in 49 games (14-for-54).

Softball 2018: Appeared in nine games, including one pitching start…Posted a 1-0 record and a 4.08 ERA in 12 innings…Walked five and struck out three…Went 2-for-5 (.400) at the plate, including a double…Had two RBIs and was hit by one pitch…Had a .600 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage…Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, handling all three of her total chances (one putout, two assists)…Earned a win over Clarks Summit (March 15) in her lone pitching start of the year, working 4-2/3 innings of a 12-5 Scarlet Raptor win, allowing nine hits, one walk and five runs (four earned)…Struck out two in that game, while going 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and two RBIs…Added a pair of assists against Clarks Summit…Worked a scoreless inning against Bay Path (March 13) in her season debut, allowing two hits and one walk, while striking out one…Had scoreless relief appearances in both ends of a doubleheader at Stockton University (April 10), working two-thirds of an inning with one hit and one walk in the first game and 1-1/3 innings with one walk in the nightcap…Notched her lone putout of the season in the opener against Stockton…Had three straight scoreless appearances to end the season, working one-third of an inning and allowing one hit against Rutgers-Newark (April 14, Game Two), and pitching in both ends of a doubleheader at Rowan University (April 17)…Worked two-thirds of an inning and allowed one hit in the opener and one-third of an inning in the nightcap.

Softball 2017: Appeared in 21 games, starting seven (five games at pitcher and one apiece at third base and as the designated player)…Hit .280 with two runs, two RBIs, one double and three walks…Had a .320 slugging percentage and a .357 on-base percentage…Collected seven putouts and 16 assists, while making two errors for a .920 fielding percentage…On the mound, appeared in 14 games, making five starts…Had a 1-4 record and a 4.52 ERA while pitching 43-1/3 innings…Notched one complete game…Allowed 68 hits and 12 walks, while striking out 12…Hit three batters…Opened her season with five innings of two-hit relief work against Randolph-Macon (March 3), allowing two walks and one unearned run, while going 1-for-2 with a walk and one run scored at the plate and adding two assists in the field…Started at third base against Johnson State (March 11), going 0-for-1 with one walk, one run and one assist…Made first start on the mound against Mount Saint Vincent (March 14), working 3-2/3 innings and allowing nine hits and two earned runs, while suffering the loss…Earned a 13-5 victory over Bay Path University (March 17), working six innings of nine-hit ball, allowing five runs (four earned) and three walks, while striking out five…Also went 2-for-4 at the plate with one RBI in that game, while collecting three putouts, two assists and one error in six fielding chances…Started and worked 1-1/3 innings while taking the loss against Penn State-Abington (March 25), allowing four hits and two runs (only one earned) and striking out one…Had 2-1/3 no-hit innings of relief, walking just one and striking out one while not being involved in the decision during the Raptors’ 5-0 loss against Ramapo College (April 8, Game One)…Hurled a complete game, but took the loss against fifth-ranked Rowan University (April 18, Game Two), allowing 16 hits, two walks and eight runs (four of them unearned), while striking out one…Suffered a 6-0 loss in a start against William Paterson University (April 27, Game Two), working five innings and allowing six hits, two walks and six runs (five earned)…Had a pinch-hit single in the seventh inning against Kean University (April 29, Game Two)…Had her season high of three putouts in back-to-back games against Bay Path (March 17) and Penn State-Abington (March 25, Game One, while playing first base).

Softball 2016: Appeared in 19 games, starting nine (five as the designated player, three at first base and one on the mound)…Hit .208 (5-for-24) with five runs, three RBIs and two doubles…Compiled a .292 slugging percentage and a lofty .486 on-base percentage, aided by seven walks and six HBP…Made her debut as a pinch-hitter against Sarah Lawrence College (March 15), going 1-for-1 with an RBI double…Had her first start against Southern Vermont College later the same day, playing first base and going 0-for-3 with one walk, two runs and her lone stolen base of the season…Started at first base against Spalding College (March 16), going 1-for-1 with one run scored and her season high of eight putouts…Overall, had 25 putouts, two assists and one error for a .964 fielding percentage…Reached base twice as a hit batsman in back-to-back games during a doubleheader against Ursinus (April 24)…In the nightcap of that doubleheader, made her lone pitching performance, hurling an eight-hit shutout in a 7-0 victory…Walked one and struck out one, while adding a walk and a pair of HBP at the plate…Started against New Jersey City University (April 30, Game One) and went 2-for-3 with a double and one run.
