Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Paul Lindsay earned his second indoor track letter with the Scarlet Raptors over the 2016-17 winter season. A transfer from Georgian Court College, Paul Lindsay joined the Rutgers-Camden indoor track team midway through the 2015-16 season and also added an outdoor track letter with the Scarlet Raptors.
 
Lindsay returns for his second outdoor track season at Rutgers-Camden.
 
A fine student as well, Lindsay captured a berth on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2016 Spring semester.
 
Indoor Track 2016-17: Came back from an early-season injury to compete in the shot put at four meets…Finished 31st of 41 at the Collegeville Classic (10.12 meters) in his first meet back, Jan. 21…Placed 12th of 18 in the shot (10.03 meters) at the Widener Field Meet (Jan. 27)…Finished 33rd of 54 (10.40 meters) in the shot put at the St. Joseph’s College Indoor Invitational (Feb. 11)…Ended the season at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 20), finishing 24th of 28 in the shot put (9.39 meters).
 
Outdoor Track 2016: Saw his distances in the shot put improve at four of his five competitions during the spring season, capped by a personal best of 12.24 meters at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship (May 8), where he finished 12th of 26 athletes…Opened the season with a shot put of 11.13 meters to finish 11th of 22 at the Stockton Invitational (March 26)…Placed 11th of 18 in the shot put (11.09 meters) at the Oscar Moore Open (April 1)…Finished ninth of 26 athletes with a shot put of 11.14 meters at the Osprey Open (April 9)…Increased his best shot put distance to 11.65 meters at the Widener Invitational (April 23), finishing 25th of 46, before setting his new personal best at the NJAC meet.
 
Indoor Track 2015-16: Competed in the shot put at five invitationals…Made his collegiate debut Jan. 15 at the Golden Bear Invitational, finishing 26th of 37 in the shot put (10.77 M/35-4)…Placed 25th of 37 at the Ramapo College Indoor Select (Jan. 30) with a shot put of 10.57 M/34-8.25…Notched his indoor personal best shot put of 10.93 M/35-10.5 to finish 19th of 27 at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 6)…At the Albright Invitational (Feb. 13), finished 11th of 14 in the shot put (10.34 M/33-11.25)…Placed 17th of 28 in the shot put at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship (Feb. 22) with a distance of 10.81 M/35-5.5.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Attended Georgian Court College, but did not compete in track.
 
High School: Graduated from Woodstown High School in 2013.
