Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Ken Robinson returns for his second year with the outdoor track team after completing his first season of indoor track over the winter.
 
Robinson earned a berth on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the 2016 fall semester.
 
Indoor Track 2016-17: Competed in the shot put at five indoor meets, notching his personal best of 11.0 meters (36-1.25) at his first meet when he finished seventh of 21 at the Bow-Tie Classic (Dec. 3)…Placed 23rd of 32 in the shot (10.32 meters) at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 9) and 26th of 41 (10.71 meters) at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 21)…At the Widener Field Meet (Jan. 27), finished 10th of 18 in the shot put (10.53 meters) and made his collegiate debut in the weight throw (6.53 meters to finish 10th of 11)…Finished 19th of 28 in the shot put (10.94 meters) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 20).
 
Outdoor Track 2016: Competed in the shot put at four meets…Made his collegiate debut at the Stockton Invitational (March 26) with a shot put of 9.63 meters to finish 16th of 22…Placed 16th of 26 at the Osprey Open (April 9) with a shot put of 9.78 meters…Increased his best throw to 9.93 meters at the Widener Invitational (April 23), finishing 34th of 46…Established a new personal best in his final meet of the season, finishing 20th of 26 with a shot put of 10.27 meters at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship (May 8).
 
High School: Graduated from Blessed Sacrament Saint Gabriel High School (New Rochelle, New York) in 2013.
 
Personal: Born June 28, 1995…Kenneth “Ken” Robinson…Hobbies include working out and reading…Africana Studies major with a Sociology minor at Rutgers-Camden…Plans to attend graduate school for Social Work to become a Drug and Alcohol Abuse  Counselor…Ken is the son of Kenneth Sr. and Andrea Robinson of New York City.
