Brandon Wons joined the Rutgers-Camden golf program midway through the 2016 fall semester and has developed into one of the Scarlet Raptors’ top players since then. He was named the Scarlet Raptors’ Most Dedicated Athlete during the 2017-18 golf campaign.

Fall 2018: Averaged 77.2 in six fall invitationals, playing on the Raptors’ A Team at each event…Shot a 77 to tie for third on the Raptors and third overall of 29 golfers at the NJCU Invitational (Sept. 18)…Placed second on the team and fourth of 52 overall, shooting a 76 at the Ursinus Invitational (Sept. 24)…Shot a 75 to finish fourth on the Raptors and tie for fourth overall of 27 golfers at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 1)…Placed fifth on the team and tied for sixth overall of 24 golfers, shooting a 79 at the Stockton Invitational (Oct. 10)…Finished third on the team and tied for 26th overall of 89, shooting a 76 at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Oct. 15)…Carded an 80 at the NEAC Fall Preview (Oct. 20), finishing fifth on the team and ninth of 19 overall.

Spring 2018: Named the team’s Most Dedicated Athlete…Averaged 83.1 in nine spring rounds while competing on the Raptors’ A Team at every invitational…Finished fifth on the team and 19th of 42 overall at the two-day North Eastern Athletic Conference Championships (April 28-29), carding an 83-85—168 total…Opened the season with an 84 to place fourth on the Raptors and tie for 17th of 38 overall at the Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 14)…Finished fourth on the team at both the Jefferson University Invitational (March 19) and the Scotland Run Shootout (March 31), carding rounds of 81 and 84, respectively…Was 11th of 15 overall at Jefferson and tied for 25th of 72 at Scotland Run…Tied for second on the team and tied for fifth of 46 overall at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational (April 9), shooting a round of 79…Shot an 89 to tie for fourth on the Raptors and tie for 13th of 26 overall at the Stockton University Invitational (April 11)…Turned in his top round of the spring, shooting a 76 to lead the Raptors and tie for third of 47 overall at the Stevenson University Invitational (April 23)…Shot an 87 to tie for fourth on the Scarlet Raptors and tie for 24th of 43 overall at the Alvernia University Invitational (April 24).
