Shariq Khan has posted a combined 19-15 record (11-6 singles and 8-9 doubles) during his three years with the men’s tennis program. Khan also captured numerous academic awards, including New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Second Team, and was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.

Tennis Spring 2021: Posted a combined 0-4 record, including 0-2 at sixth singles and 0-2 at second doubles with Jair Norman, while facing the two top teams in the New Jersey Athletic Conference…Against eventual NJAC champion New Jersey City (March 26), lost at singles (1-6, 1-6) and doubles (0-8)…Playing The College of New Jersey (April 18), dropped a match at singles (0-6, 0-6) and doubles (2-8).

Tennis 2018-19: Earned a berth on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis All-Sportsmanship Team…Posted a 9-2 record in singles play during Rutgers-Camden’s 11 matches, by far the most singles victories on the team…Went 6-0 at fifth singles and 3-2 at sixth singles…Combined with Vincent Flores to post a 5-6 doubles mark (0-1 at first doubles, 3-5 at second doubles and 2-0 at third doubles)…Won his first four and his last four singles matches of the season, while going 1-2 in the middle three (with one of the losses at No. 6 singles against perennial New Jersey Athletic Conference powerhouse The College of New Jersey)…Opened the season with a win at third doubles (8-6) and fifth singles (6-4, 4-6, 11-9) against Neumann (March 9)…Also earned two wins against Moravian College (March 16) with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at sixth singles and an 8-2 win at third doubles…Notched singles wins against Penn State-Abington (March 24, winning 6-0, 7-5 at sixth singles) and Lehman (March 30 with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at the fifth flight), while adding an 8-1 win at second doubles against Lehman…Won 6-4, 6-3 at sixth singles against the College of Staten Island (April 7)…Earned wins at fifth singles against Albertus Magnus (April 13, 6-2, 7-6) and Rutgers-Newark (April 20, 7-5, 6-4)…Closed the season sweeping matches at fifth singles and second doubles against both Neumann (April 25, 6-1, 6-0 in singles and 8-5 in doubles) and Penn State-Brandywine (6-3, 6-3 in singles and 8-3 in doubles)…Out of his six losses in doubles, two came by 6-8 scores (against Penn State-Abington and the College of Staten Island) and one came by a 5-8 tally (against Rutgers-Newark).
Tennis 2017-18: Posted a 2-2 record in singles (0-1 at third singles and 2-1 at fourth singles) during his freshman season…Also went 3-1 in doubles (2-0 second doubles, 1-1 at the third spot)…Made his collegiate debut against Brooklyn College (March 18), losing at fourth singles (6-1, 5-7, 6-10) and teaming with Juan Eduardo Perez to win at third doubles (8-6)…Earned his first singles victory (6-3, 6-2) at the fourth flight against Penn State-Abington (April 8), while dropping a third doubles match with Perez (3-8)…The same day, swept his fourth singles match against Albertus Magnus College (6-0, 6-0) and teamed with Vatsal Patel for a 6-1 win at second doubles…Closed his season losing a singles match at the third flight (4-6, 3-6) against Rutgers-Newark (April 15), but winning at second doubles with Patel by an 8-4 score.
High School: Four-year varsity tennis letterman at Atlantic City High School for Coach Joseph Scalfaro…Also earned one varsity soccer letter…Graduated in 2017.
