Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Andrew Yuen competed in one match with the Scarlet Raptors during the fall semester, collecting his first singles victory at Rutgers-Camden. Yuen played his first semester with the Raptors during the spring 2021 semester and continued with the team during the 2022 spring and fall semesters, compiling an overall mark of 1-7 in singles play and 0-8 in doubles competition.

Tennis Fall 2022: Played in one match during the brief fall season, facing York College of Pennsylvania (Oct. 15)…Posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at second singles and lost at first doubles (2-8) with Edward McWilliams Jr.
 
Tennis 2021-22: Played at the top singles spot, going 0-4, and teamed with Ken Tuppal to produce an 0-4 mark at the No. 1 doubles position…Dropped singles matches against Eastern (March 11 by a 2-8 score), SUNY-Oneonta (April 1, 1-6, 0-6), Ramapo (April 15, 2-6, 2-6) and Ursinus (April 22, 1-6, 1-6)…In doubles, lost the Raptors’ closest matches of the season by 4-8 scores against both Eastern and Ramapo…Also lost, 2-8, against SUNY-Oneonta and 0-8 against Ursinus.
 
Tennis Spring 2021: Posted an 0-3 record at second singles and an 0-4 mark in doubles…Played first doubles three times with Charles Dalisay and second doubles once with Gavin Fernan…In the season-opening match at eventual conference champion New Jersey City (March 26), lost at singles (0-6, 1-6) and at first doubles (1-8)…Against conference power The College of New Jersey (April 18), lost at singles (0-6, 0-6) and at first doubles (3-8)…Dropped his singles match (2-6, 1-6) and first doubles match (4-8) at Ramapo (April 24)…Teamed with Fernan in a loss at second doubles (1-8) against New Jersey City in the New Jersey Athletic Conference semifinals (May 7).
 
Tennis Fall 2020: Season cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

High School: Captured six varsity letters at Egg Harbor Township High School, competing in both tennis (four letters) and bowling (two)…Played tennis for Coaches Kelly Karrer and Alene Hartman…Earned Cape Atlantic League First Team tennis honors in 2018 and 2019…National Honor Society member…Graduated in 2019.
