Nate Harris made his collegiate track debut with the indoor program at Rutgers-Camden during the 2021-22 scholastic year. He added a second track letter during the 2022 outdoor season and returned to the outdoor program in 2023.
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2022 Spring, 2022 Fall and 2023 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student.
Outdoor Track 2023: Ran the 100-meter dash at two meets, including the season-opening Stockton Invitational (March 25), finishing 33rd of 45 (12.76)…Also competed in the Danny Curran Invitational (April 1), placing 73rd of 81 in a time of 12.93.
Indoor Track 2022-23: Did not compete.
Outdoor Track 2022: Competed in seven meets, running the 100-meter dash five times, the 4x100 four times, the 200-meter dash twice and the 4x400 once…Made his outdoor track debut running 200 meters (27.52, 42nd of 59) at the season-opening Stockton Invitational (March 26)…At the Danny Curran Invitational (April 2), ran both the 100-meter dash (45th of 53, 13.08) and the 200-meter dash (55th of 63, a PR of 26.68)…Ran the 100-meter dash (58th of 69, 13.31) and with the 4x100 team (10th of 10, 49.50) at the Osprey Open (April 9)…Notched his first sub-13 second 100-meter dash with a 12.66 clocking to finish 61st of 75 at the Widener Invitational (April 23)….Posted PR times in both the 100-meter dash (12.51, 59th of 77) and the 4x100 (48.92, fourth of four) at the Lions Invitational (April 30)…Participated in the two-day New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 8-9), running the 100-meter dash (32nd of 34, 12.66) the first day and with the 4x100 team (seventh of eight, 51.99) the second day…Participated in both the 4x400 relay (second of two, 4:24.61) and the 4x100 (did not finish) at the ECAC Championships (May 18-19).
Indoor Track 2021-22: Competed in five meets, running the 60-meter dash in each meet, while also adding three competitions in the 200-meter dash and one as a member of the 4x200 relay team…Made his debut Jan. 22 at the Collegeville Classic, running the 60-meter dash (38th of 39, 8.85) and the 200-meter dash (53rd of 55, 28.76)…Posted his top 200-meter time of 27.11 at the Fasttrack National Invitational, Feb. 11, finishing 136th of 138…Notched his top 60-meter time of 7.96 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships on Feb. 21, finishing 26th of 29…Also ran on the 4x200 team at the NJAC meet, finishing ninth of nine teams in a time of 1:48.12.
High School: Captured four varsity basketball letters at STEMCivics Charter School in Ewing Township from 2014-18 for Coach Sylvester Culyer…Scored 691 career points…All-Charter League Second Team in 2016-17…Charter League All-Star from 2015-17…Helped team to the Charter League championship in 2016-17…Graduated in 2018.
