Biography
Josie Jackson-Conner capped her stellar four-year Rutgers-Camden career in 2024, leading the team with five goals and finishing second on the squad with 10 points. Jackson-Conner appeared in 68 games over her Scarlet Raptor career (tied for 23rd on the program’s all-time list), starting 37. She compiled 27 points on 11 goals and five assists, with five of her goals being game winners.

In addition to her skills on the soccer pitch, Jackson-Conner captured a pair of all-conference academic honors, in addition to several other accomplishments in the classroom.

Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 scholastic years…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2021 Fall, 2022 Fall, 2023 Spring, 2024 Spring and 2024 Fall semesters…Dean’s List student.

Soccer 2024: Played in all 19 Rutgers-Camden games, starting 12…Led the team with five goals and finished second on the club with 10 points…Tied for the team lead with 27 shots and finished second with 18 shots on goal…Contributed to all six Rutgers-Camden shutouts…Scored a goal in back-to-back Raptor shutouts against King’s College (3-0, Sept. 15) and Bryn Athyn (4-0, Sept. 18)…Notched two goals during a 5-2 win over John Jay (Sept. 21)…Had her season highs with four shots against both Rutgers-Newark (a 1-0 loss, Oct. 2) and FDU-Florham (2-0, Oct. 9)…In the FDU-Florham game, her second-half goal proved to be the game winner, breaking a scoreless tie in an eventual 2-0 Raptor win.

Soccer 2023: Appeared in all 18 Rutgers-Camden games, starting 14…Led the team with three game-winning goals…Tied for second on the team in overall goals (4) and finished third in assists (3) and points (11)…Took 27 shots, 16 on goal, for a .593 percentage…Named Rutgers-Camden Raptor of the Week on Sept. 18…Opened her season with a bang, scoring two goals, including the game winner, in a 3-0 victory over Neumann (Sept. 1)…Assisted on the Raptors’ lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Washington College (Sept. 13)…Collected one goal, the game winner, and added an assist in a 4-0 win at Bryn Athyn (Sept. 16), while taking her season high of five shots (three on goal)…Collected a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over Stockton (Oct. 18), with her game-winning goal coming with only seven seconds left in the game and only 3:25 after Stockton had tied the game.

Soccer 2022: Appeared in all 18 Rutgers-Camden games, starting 10…Tied for third on the team with six points (two goals, two assists)…Took 20 shots, 12 of them on goal…Contributed to all four Rutgers-Camden shutouts…Assisted on the Scarlet Raptors’ first goal of the season, scored by Maresa Savarese, during a 2-2 tie with Alvernia (Sept. 7)…Took her season high of four shots (one on goal) in that game…Collected her first career goal and made it a game winner during a 4-1 victory over William Paterson (Sept. 24…Assisted on the game-winning goal by Savarese during a 3-0 win over Ramapo (Sept. 28)…Scored her second career goal during a 3-1 win over New Jersey City (Oct. 1)…

Soccer 2021: Played in 13 games, starting one…Took six shots, two on goal…Played in four of the team’s five shutouts…Made her collegiate debut playing 34 minutes off the bench in a season-opening 1-0 victory over Elizabethtown College (Sept. 2), taking one shot on goal…Made her lone start and played 39 minutes in a 1-0 loss to Washington College (Sept. 11)…Played a season-high 49 minutes during a 0-0 double-overtime tie against Kean University (Sept. 25)…Had two shots in back-to-back games against New Jersey City University (Oct. 16) and Ursinus College (Oct. 20).
