Biography
Alexa Wilson competed in two 6K races during her first collegiate season with the Rutgers-Camden cross country team in 2022. She served as a cross country co-captain during the 2023 season.
Cross Country 2023: Competed in three 6K meets, beginning with the season-opening Osprey Open (Sept. 16), when she finished second on the team and 109th of 133 overall (33:13.5)…Posted a 34:53.91 clocking at the Dan Talbot Open (Sept. 29) to finish third on the Raptors and 55th of 74 overall…Set a PR in her final meet of the season at the Last Chance Run Fast event (Oct. 20), notching a time of 32:36.49 to place third on the Raptors and 68th of 91 overall.
Cross Country 2022: Made her collegiate debut at the TCNJ Invitational (Sept. 23), finishing second on the team and 66th of 73 overall in a time of 32:55.70…Placed third on the Raptors and 288th of 319 overall (33:28.1) at the Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 15).
High School: Earned two track and field letters at Washington Township High School…Graduated in 2020.
Personal: Born September 12, 2001…Nicknamed “Lex”…Hobbies include running and reading…Biology major at Rutgers-Camden with a minor in Psychology…Plans to get her doctorate in Physical Therapy…Alexa is the daughter of Tara and Mark Wilson of Turnersville.
