Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Ashley Rafferty ran with the Rutgers-Camden cross country team for the two-meet schedule in March, 2021, and competed with the outdoor track program for the 2021 spring season. She joins the indoor track program this winter.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List student for the 2020 Fall and 2021 Spring semesters.
 
Cross Country 2021: Did not compete.
 
Outdoor Track 2021: Ran at all five spring invitationals for the Scarlet Raptors, competing at 1,500 meters each time…Finished eighth of nine (6:49.28) at the Stockton Invitational #1 (March 26) and was 13th of 15 (6:34.53) at the Stockton Invitational #2 (April 2)…Posted a 6:43.25 clocking to place 11th of 12 at the Bill Fritz Invitational (April 17)…Notched her PR of 6:30.63 to place ninth of 14 at the Osprey Twilight Meet (April 30)…Capped her season at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 8), finishing 13th of 14 (6:37.62) in the 1,500-meter run.
 
Cross Country 2020-21: Finished second on the Scarlet Raptors at both meets during the brief March season…Ran a 5K time of 29:35.81 to place 12th of 16 overall at the Stockton Invitational (March 6)…Finished 29th of 36 at the 6K New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (March 20).  
High School: Multi-sport athlete who earned 12 varsity letters at Cinnaminson High School, with four apiece in cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field…Captured Patriot Division First Team and Second Team honors…Honor Roll student and a member of the National Honor Society…Graduated from Cinnaminson High School in 2019.
 
Personal: Born December 5, 2000…Loves to work out and stay fit…Nursing major at Rutgers-Camden…Ashley is the daughter of Rebecca Rafferty of Cinnaminson.
