Biography

A two-year member of the Rutgers-Camden men’s basketball program, Davis Graham also competed with the Scarlet Raptors’ cross country and outdoor track teams during the 2015-16 scholastic year. He returns to the cross country team this season.
 
A transfer who played his first season of collegiate basketball at Division I Rider University, Graham has played 35 basketball games in his two years at Rutgers-Camden. He has averaged 3.9 points and 0.9 rebounds, while adding 11 assists, five steals and two blocked shots.
 
A fine student as well, Graham earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention during the 2015-16 scholastic year and was on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during both the fall and spring semesters. He also served on Rutgers-Camden’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
 
3161Outdoor Track 2016: Competed in two meets, running the 1,500 meters…Made his outdoor track debut at the Stockton Invitational (March 26), finishing 43rd of 48 in a time of 5:03.87…Placed 16th of 18 at the Oscar Moore Open (April 1), slashing his time to 4:47.57.
 
Basketball 2015-16: Played in 15 games, starting eight…Averaged 6.3 points and 1.4 rebounds…Added six assists, three steals and two blocked shots…Shot 14-for-23 from the foul line (.609)…Went 29-for-90 (.322) from the floor, including 23-for-76 (.303) from three-point range…Finished second on the team in three-point field goals and third in there-point field goal percentage among all players with at least 10 treys…Scored in double figures on five occasions, including the Raptors’ season opener against Penn State-Harrisburg (Nov. 14), when he notched 13 points, aided by 4-for-7 shooting from the floor (3-for-5 from three-point range) and a perfect 2-for-2 from the foul line…Collected 11 points against Rosemont College (Nov. 20), shooting 3-for-5 from three-point range and 2-for-2 from the foul line…Had five points and a career-high five rebounds, all defensive boards, while making his first career start against Rowan University (Dec. 2)…Notched a career-high 17 points, tied his career high of two assists, added three rebounds and notched his first career blocked shot against Kean University (Dec. 5)…In that Kean game, hit a career-high five three-pointers…Scored 11 points in his next game, at Stockton University (Dec. 9)and 11 points against William Paterson University (Dec. 19).
 
Cross Country 2015: Competed in 8K races at the Osprey Open (Sept. 26) and the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 31)…At the Osprey Open, finished second on the team and 138th of 145 overall in a time of 40:22.51…Placed third on the Raptors and 87th of 91 overall at the NJAC meet in a time of 38:47.21.
 
3162Basketball 2014-15: Appeared in 20 games…Averaged 2.0 points and 0.5 rebounds…Added five assists and two steals…Shot 11-for-38 (.289) from three-point range…Shot 5-for-6 (.833) from the foul line…Made Rutgers-Camden debut in the season opener against Immaculata University (Nov. 15), playing seven minutes and shooting 0-for-2, both from three-point range…Notched a season high 23 minutes of playing time in his second appearance, coming against William Paterson University (Nov. 22) when he set his career highs with 12 points and two rebounds, while also adding one assist…Sot 3-for-8 from the floor, including 2-for-5 from three-point range, in that game and went a perfect 4-for-4 from the foul line…Scored six points, shooting 2-for-3 on three-point attempts, and added one rebound against Stockton University (Dec. 10)…Set a career high with two assists, while adding three points and one rebound against Lehman College (Jan. 12)…Scored six points (2-for-5 shooting from three-point range) in nine minutes of playing time, while adding one steal against William Paterson University (Jan. 24).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Appeared in seven games for the Rider University Broncs during the 2013-14 season…Collected one steal, coming against Wagner College Dec. 14.
 
High School: Captured eight varsity letters at Doane Academy, playing basketball and soccer for coaches Daniel Williamson and Sean Yackel…In basketball was a 1,000-point scorer…Led team in scoring his sophomore, junior and senior seasons…Ranney tournament MVP as a junior and a senior…Team MVP during both his junior and senior seasons…Earned Most Improved honors in soccer as a sophomore…Honor Roll student.
