Biography

Dylan Davies earned his first collegiate letter during the fall semester as a key member of the Rutgers-Camden cross country program. He joins the indoor track team this winter.
 
Cross Country 2025: Competed in seven meets while earning his first collegiate letter, while running third or fourth on the team in every meet…At his lone 5K meet, the season-opening Back to the Bowl Invitational (Sept. 6), placed fourth on the team and 56th of 93 overall, establishing his 5K PR of 20:29.60…His first 8K race was the United East Preview (Sept. 12), where he finished third on the Raptors and 25th of 99 overall (32:48.24)…Finished fourth on the team at both the Osprey Open (Sept. 20, 102nd of 162, 31:14.47) and the Paul Short Run (Oct. 3, 246th of 327, 31:07.8)…Placed third on the Raptors in his final three meets, beginning with the Border Battle D3 Championship (Oct. 18), when he finished 307th of 327 overall in a 30:59.0 clocking, at the time his best of the season…Finished 71st of 87 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Nov. 1) in a time of 31:38.7…Set a PR of 29:50.9 at the NCAA Metro Regional (Nov. 15), finishing 124th of 181.
 
High School: Track and cross country letterman at Maple Shade High School for Coach David Inglis…Graduated in 2025.
 
Personal: Born June 11, 2007…Notes that “outside of running, I enjoy staying active and being out of the house, whether that’s fishing, hanging out with friends, or spending time at the beach”…Engineering major at Rutgers-Camden…”After graduation, I plan to pursue a career as an automotive mechanical engineer, combining my interest in cars with problem-solving and design. I also intend to continue running at a competitive level, transitioning to road racing and longer distances such as the marathon. Both goals reflect my commitment to discipline and continuous improvement. A far-out goal would be to qualify for the 2032 Olympic Trials”…Dylan is the son of Wesley and Kathleen Davies of Maple Shade.
