Biography
Jack Wessner earned his first collegiate letter during the fall semester as one of the top runners on the Rutgers-Camden cross country team. He is joining the indoor track program this winter.

Cross Country 2025: Competed in six meets, finishing second on the Scarlet Raptors in each race…In the season-opening 5K Back to the Bowl Invitational (Sept. 6), placed 37th of 93 with his %K PR of 19:40.80…Beginning the 8K race season, finished 80th of 162 (29:45.84) at the Osprey Open (Sept. 20)…Placed 223rd of 327 runners at the all-division Paul Short Run (Oct. 3) in a time of 30:30.4…Ran in the Border Battle D3 Championship (Oct. 18), finishing 298th of 327 (30:18.5)…At the Last Chance Run Fast meet on Oct. 24, placed 60th of 87 in a time of 29:46.6…Set his 8K PR at the NCAA Metro Regional (Nov. 15), posting a 29:12.6 clocking to finish 117th of 181.

High School: Earned three varsity letters with the track and field program and two with the cross country program at Maple Shade High School…Competed for coaches Nicolino, Inglis, Chef, Fagan, McCarthy and Manall…Served as the team captain for both programs during his senior year…Team MVP as a senior in both cross country and track and field…Three-time First Team All-Star in track and field, for the 3,200-meter, 1,600-meter and 800-meter runs…First Team All-Star in cross country…Competed at the state meet in the 1,600-meter race during his senior season…Competed in the adidas nationals in the mile…Multiple-time Honor Roll and Principal’s Honor Roll student…Compiled a 3.9 GPA…Graduated in 2025.

Personal: Born February 28, 2007…Hobbies and interests include running, reading, playing the piano, listening to music, hiking, walking, studying languages, and weight lifting…Business major at Rutgers-Camden with a minor in Psychology…Post-graduation plans include traveling the world…Jack is the son of Pamela and Michael Wessner of Maple Shade.
