Biography

Jessica Fronckowiak enters her third season with the Rutgers-Camden cross country program this fall. She also owns two Scarlet Raptor letters with the indoor track program and one with the outdoor track program.
 
During her sophomore year, Fronckowiak was named the women’s cross country program’s Most Dedicated Athlete and she continued her stellar academic work, earning New Jersey Athletic Conference and ECAC honors in addition to two more berths on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. She has earned a berth on the AD Honor Roll during each of her four semesters on campus.
 
Academics: NJAC Academic Honorable Mention, 2017-18 scholastic year; ECAC 2018 Spring Semester Academic Honor Roll; Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll 2016 Fall, 2017 Spring, 2017 Fall and 2018 Spring semesters.
 
Indoor Track 2017-18: Opened her season at the Fast Times Before Finals meet, posting a time of 4:26.66 at 1,000 meters to finish 20th of 20 athletes…Placed 23rd of 25 at 3,000 meters (14:11.18)  at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 20)…Ran her top 3,000-meter time of the season, 13:48.12, at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 3), finishing 32nd of 33.
 
Cross Country 2017: Competed in all seven invitationals for the Raptors…Named the Most Dedicated Athlete for the women’s cross country program…Set her personal 5K best at the Wilmington University Cross Country Invite (Sept. 2), finishing third on the team and 22nd of 34 in a time of 26:17.98…Finished third on the team in her first 6K race of the season, placing 85th of 109 overall at the Bill Fritz Invitational (Sept. 16) in a time of 35:00.88…Finished fifth on the Raptors’ team in her final five invitationals, earning her highest overall finish (48th of 101) with a time of 32:19.3 at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Cross Country Championship (Oct. 7)…Posted her best 6K time of the fall (29:59.5) to finish 226th of 239 at the Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 14)…Finished 80th of 100 (30:09.17) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships (Oct. 28) and placed 268th of 285 (31:03.4) at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals (Nov. 11).
 
Outdoor Track 2017: Competed in the 1,500-meter run at five spring meets, while also running three times at 800 meters…Established personal-best times at the Widener Invitational (April 22) in both the 800 meters 3:05.49, 83rd of 88) and 1,500 meters (6:14.13, 87th of 93)…Ran both events at the season-opening Golden Rams Invitational (March 25), placing 28th of 29 at 800 meters (3:12.60) and 23rd of 29 at 1,500 meters (6:19.33)…Finished 13th of 15 at 800 meters (3:10.06) and 16th of 18 at 1,500 meters (6:28.78) at the Stockton Invitational (April 1)…Ran the 1,500-meter event at the Oscar Moore Open (April 8), placing 13th of 16 in a 6:24.62 clocking…Closed her season at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 7), finishing 26th of 28 at 1,500 meters (6:34.14).
 
Indoor Track 2016-17:  Competed at six meets, running the mile five times and adding one competition apiece at 800 and 3,000 meters…Improved her mile time at all five competitions in the event…Made her indoor track debut Dec. 3 at the Bow-Tie Classic, placing 19th of 24 in the mile (7:04.96)…Ran 3,000 meters (13:43.09) at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 9), finishing 17th of 18…Running the mile at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 21) and the Widener Field Meet (Jan. 27), she finished 36th of 40 (7:00.63) and eighth of 10 (6:55.81), respectively…Sliced another three seconds off her mile time to finish 36th of 42 (6:52.91) and also placed 56th of 66 at 800 meters (3:08.19) at the St. Joseph’s College Invitational (Feb. 11)…Posted her personal best time of 6:44.68 in the mile to finish 17th of 19 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 20).
 
Cross Country 2016: Competed in seven of the Scarlet Raptors’ eight invitationals during the fall…Finished second on the team at both 5K meets to open the season, posting a 26:30.3 clocking at the Bryn Mawr Invitational Sept. 1 to finish 62nd of 92 overall and a 28:09.1 time at the Philadelphia Metropolitan meet Sept. 10 to place 56th of 82 overall…Led Rutgers-Camden and finished 94th of 148 overall at the 6K Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Invitational Sept. 17, posting a 28:50.09 clocking…Placed second on the team and 125th of 190 overall at the NJAIAW Championships (Sept. 24) with a 6K time of 29:17.24…Finished 99th of 160 overall and third on the Raptors at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial 6K race Oct. 8, notching a 30:18.4 time…Ran a personal best 6K time of 28:39.3 to finish third on Rutgers-Camden’s team and 362nd of 386 overall at the Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 15)…Closed the season with a 30:05.8 clocking at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals (Nov. 12), finishing fifth on the team and 296th of 304 overall after returning to the team from an injury.
 
High School: Graduated from Gloucester Catholic in 2016...Earned three varsity letters with the track and field program and one in cross country.
