Miguel Angel Gisone wrapped up his Rutgers-Camden cross country career during the 2023 fall season, competing in his fourth full campaign during a career that also included running in the pandemic-shortened 2020-21 two-meet season.

Cross Country 2022: Ran in four 8K races for the Scarlet Raptors, leading the team once and finishing second on the team at the other three meets…Posted a time of 34:58.10 to place second on the Raptors and 64th of 76 overall at the TCNJ Invitational (Sept. 23)…Placed second on the team and 64th again, this time in a field of 91 runners, at the Dan Talbot Open (Oct. 1) with a time of 35:30.1…Led the Scarlet Raptors and placed 291st of 323 overall at the Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 15) in time of 35:43.5…Placed second on the team and 86th of 100 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 29), running his best 8K time of the season at 34:55.5.

Cross Country 2021: Ran in five invitationals, placing everywhere from third to fifth on the Raptor team…Finished fourth on the Raptors and 22nd of 25 at the 6K Osprey Memorial Invitational (Sept. 10) in a time of 24:29.27…Ran the first of his four 8K races at the Osprey Open (Sept. 25), finishing third on the Raptors and 109th of 132 overall (32:33.01)…Posted a 34:19.9 clocking at the Paul Short Run (Oct. 2) to finish fourth on the team and 196th of 218 overall…Also finished fourth on the Raptors, and 190th of 208 overall, at the Border Battle (Oct. 16) in a 38:37.3 clocking…Ran a 34:13.8 time to finish fifth on the team and 101st of 111 overall at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 30).

Outdoor Track 2021: Earned his first outdoor track letter at Rutgers-Camden, competing in five meets, running the 400-meter dash in four of them and 800 meters in the other one…At 400 meters, ran at both Stockton Invitationals to start the season, finishing 15th of 17 (1:02.54) on March 26 and 10th of 14 (a PR of 59.90) on April 2…Finished 15th of 15 in the 400-meter dash (1:06.07) at the Bill Fritz Invitational (April 17) and 17th of 18 (1:02.98) in that event at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 9)…Also set his PR at 800 meters (2:30.52), while finishing 25th of 27 at the Osprey Twilight Meet (April 30).

Cross Country 2020-21: Ran at both meets during the brief March season, finishing fourth on the team at each one...Finished 18th of 27 overall at the 5K Stockton Invitational (March 6) in a time of 20:00.20…Placed 33rd of 39 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (March 20) in a time of 31:52.1.

Indoor Track 2019-20: Competed in seven indoor meets, running the mile at six of them and closing the season at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 24) when he ran with a pair of relay teams, setting his PR in both the 4x400 (3:54.72, finishing ninth of 10) and the distance medley relay (12:19.32, eighth of eight)…Ran the mile in a pair of December meets at the Fastrack Season Opener (Dec. 6, placing 45th of 48 at 5:30.99) and the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 13, 26th of 27, 5:40.10)…Finished 10th of 14 in the mile (5:34.00) at the Dutchmen Invitational (Jan. 17)…In back-to-back meets at Ursinus College, finished 44th of 48 in the mile (5:40.12) at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 25) and 52nd of 58 at the frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 8) with a PR in the mile of 5:26.51…Posted a 5:28.79 clocking to place 39th of 42 in the mile at the Susquehanna Invitational (Feb. 15).

Cross Country 2019: Competed in all nine of the Scarlet Raptors’ cross country meets during the season, finishing everywhere from first to fifth on the team…Led the Raptors’ team at the season-opening 5K Bryn Mawr Invitational, posting a time of 20:05.69 while finishing 46th of 107 overall…Ran his first 8K meet at the Philadelphia Metro Invitational (Sept. 7), finishing second on the team and 70th of 121 overall in a time of 32:52.1…Also finished second on the Raptors at the Osprey Open (Sept. 21, 123rd of 210 overall in a 30:44.97 time) and at the Dan Talbot Open (Sept. 27, 12th of 37 overall at 31:58.5)…Posted his top 8K time of 30:23.3 at the Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 19), finishing third on the Raptors and 240th of 256 overall…Had a time of 30:50.3 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Nov. 2), finishing fifth on the team and 86th of 105 overall…Posted his top 5K time (19:57.98) at the Nick Russo Halloween run, finishing third on the team and 12th of 29 overall…Finished fourth on the Raptors and 265th of 300 overall (31:28.1) at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals.
