David Morrow has been a member of the cross country, indoor track and outdoor track programs during his career at Rutgers-Camden, although his athletic participation was interrupted due to the outdoor and indoor track seasons being cancelled during the COVID-19 pandemic. Morrow has participated in four full cross country seasons and also ran in the pandemic-shortened two-meet cross country season held during March 2021. He earned New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team cross country honors that spring. He also has competed during two seasons of indoor track and one of outdoor track.

Cross Country 2023: Served as team co-captain and led the Raptors in five of his six 8K races…Posted a 33:46.61 time to finish 20th of 48 overall at the Dan Talbot Open (Sept. 29), while leading the Rutgers-Camden team…Led the Raptors and placed 37th of 88 overall at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial (Oct. 7), posting a 32:31.6 clocking…Finished second on the Raptors for the only time during the season, while placing 18th of 37 at the Cairn Cup (Oct. 11) in a time of 34:39.937…Finished 106th of 152 in 30:42.3 at the Border Battle (Oct. 14)…Placed 88th of 144 in a time of 31:42.46 at the Last Chance Run Fast meet (Oct. 20)…Finished 70th of 95 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 28) in his best time of the season, 30:19.1.

Cross Country 2022: The Scarlet Raptors’ top runner at all three of his 8K races, he opened the season finishing 44th of 76 overall (30:25.90) at the TCNJ Invitational (Sept. 23)…Placed 24th of 91 at the Dan Talbot Open (Oct. 1) in a time of 29:56.3…Finished 67th of 100 overall (29:58.6) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 29).

Indoor Track 2021-22: Competed at three meets…Ran 3,000 meters at the Fastrack Opener (Dec. 3), placing 24th of 31 (10:18.78)…Competed at the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 10), setting a PR of 2:15.51 at 800 meters to finish eighth of 22, while also finishing 10th of 20 with a mile run of 5:03.67…Competed at the Fasttrack National Invitational with the Distance Medley Relay, which didn’t finish the race.
Cross Country 2021: Competed in five 8K invitationals for the Scarlet Raptors, finishing third on the team in the first four meets and second in the season-ending NCAA Metro Regional (Nov. 13), when he posted a 30:36.4 time to place 112th of 163 overall…Finished 174th of 218 at the Paul Short Run (Oct. 2) in a time of 32:01.7…Ran a 32:59.8 time to place 68th of 128 at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Invitational (Oct. 9)…Posted a 32:27.3 clocking to place 145th of 208 at the Border Battle (Oct. 16)…Finished 85th of 111 in a time of 30:18.5 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships on Oct. 30.
Outdoor Track 2021: Participated at 800, 1,500 and 3,000 meters during the five-meet season, while also running once with the 4x400 relay team…In his first collegiate outdoor track meet, finished 13th of 20 at 1,500 meters (4:23.99) and eighth of eight with the 4x400 team (4:08.73) at the Stockton Invitational #1 on March 26…At the second Stockton Invitational (April 2), finished 11th of 20 at 1,500 meters (4:27.21)…Placed 18th of 25 at 800 meters (2:08.67) and 17th of 25 at 1,500 meters (a PR of 4:21.89) at the Bill Fritz Invitational (April 17)…Established a pair of PR’s at 800 meters (18th of 27, 2:07.85) and 3,000 meters (sixth of eight, 9:45.40) at the Osprey Twilight Meet (April 30)…Closed his season at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (May 9), finishing 27th of 28 at 800 meters (2:28.19) and 14th of 21 at 1,500 meters (4:30.52).
Cross Country 2020-21: Captured NJAC Second Team honors at the pandemic-delayed “2020” conference championships, held March 20, 2021, finishing 17th of 39 runners overall in the 8K race in a time of 28:15.2…In the opening meet of the brief season, he led the Scarlet Raptors and finished seventh of 27 overall at the 5K Stockton Invitational (March 6, 2021), posting a time of 18:37.98..

Indoor Track 2019-20: Competed in eight meets, covering five different events…Ran the mile at six meets, setting his PR of 4:57.96 at the Fastrack Season Opener (Dec. 6) while finishing 30th of 48…Also ran on the 4x800 team (fifth of seven, 8:56.48) at the season-opening meet…At the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 13), placed 19th of 27 in the mile (4:58.71) and ninth of 12 with the sprint medley team (a PR of 3:58.58)…Finished eighth of 14 in the mile (5:15.14) and fifth of seven at 3,000 meters (a PR of 10:17.19) during a busy day at the Dutchmen Invitational (Jan. 17)…Established his PR of 17:48.73 during his first of two times running at 5,000 meters, finishing eighth of 13 at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 25)…At the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 8), finished 47th of 58 in the mile (5:12.57) and fifth of 13 with the 4x800 team (8:35.37, at the time his PR)…Placed 31st of 42 in the mile (5:02.85) at the Susquehanna Invitational (Feb. 15)…Competed in both the 5,000-meter run (12th of 12, 18:09.86) and the 4x800 (seventh of nine, 8:40.15) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 24)…Had a busy day at the ECAC Championships (March 7), finishing 11th of 12 in the mile (4:58.37) and second of five with the 4x800 team (a PR of 8:23.44).
Cross Country 2019: Competed in all nine Rutgers-Camden invitationals during the season, leading the Scarlet Raptors’ team in the final eight…Made his collegiate debut at the season-opening Bryn Mawr Invitational (Aug. 30), finishing fourth on the Raptors and 55th of 107 overall (20:29.32)…In his first collegiate 8K race at the Philadelphia Metro Invitational (Sept. 7), led the Raptors and finished 67th of 121 in a time of 32:32.0…Placed 90th of 210 (29:21.15) at the Osprey Open (Sept. 21), eighth of 37 at the Dan Talbot Open (Sept. 27, 30:54.2) and 59th of 162 at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial (Oct. 12, 31:23.0), leading the Raptors in every invitational…Led the Raptors and set an 8K PR (27:58.0) at the Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 19), placing 200th of 256 overall…Posted a time of 28:05.5 at the New Jersey Athletic Championships (Nov. 2), finishing first on the team and 65th of 105 overall…In the Nick Russo Halloween run on Nov. 10, set his 5K PR (17:13.11) while placing fourth of 29 overall…Closed the season leading the team and finishing 220th of 300 overall at the NCAA Div.
