Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Eli Ochir-Goryaev competed in four different events during his first season with the Rutgers-Camden indoor track program over the winter. He joined the outdoor program during the 2024 spring semester, where he also competed in four different events.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List student for the 2023 Fall semester.
 

 
Indoor Track 2023-24: Competed at five indoor meets, beginning with the FastTrack Opener (Dec. 1), when he posted a 1:07.48 time in the 400-meter dash to finish 55th of 55 athletes…At the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 8), finished 32nd of 39 in the unseeded 60-meter dash (8.23) and placed 60th of 61 in the 200-meter dash (28.48)…Ran his lone race with the 4x200 relay team, which finished 13th of 13 (2:02.34) at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 3)…Set his PR of 8:20 in the 60-meter dash in the all-division FastTrack National Invite (Feb. 9), finishing 117th of 121…Notched a pair of PR times at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 19), finishing 23rd of 23 in the 200-meter dash (27.94) and 24th of 24 in the 400-meter dash (1:04.21).
 
High School: Graduated from Jackson Liberty High School in 2023.
 
Personal: Born February 1, 2005…Computer Science major at Rutgers-Camden…Eli is the son of Liudmila Churyumova of Jackson.
