Biography

A three-year veteran of the Rutgers-Camden cross country team, Isabella Bordon has been the Scarlet Raptors’ top runner in 14 of her 17 career meets. Bordon added her third indoor track letter over the 2024-25 winter, where she set a PR in seven events and combined on a program record in the Mixed 4x400. She also owns one letter in outdoor track at Rutgers-Camden.
 
A New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team performer in the heptathlon during the 2024 outdoor season, Bordon also is a Dean’s List student who has captured several academic honors.
 
Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2023-24 scholastic year…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2022 Fall, 2023 Fall, 2024 Spring and 2024 Fall semesters…Dean’s List student.
 
Program records: Indoor Track – Mixed 4x400 (4:05.42) at the Gotham Cup (Jan. 17, 2025).
 
Outdoor Track 2025: Did not compete.
 
Indoor Track 2024-25: Started her third indoor track season at the FastTrack Opener (Dec. 6), finishing 20th of 28 at 800 meters 2:39.10)…At the St. Thomas Aquinas meet (Jan. 10), set PRs at 400 meters (1:06.51, finishing 35th of 54) and with the 4x200 team (1:57.26, 10th of 14)…Finished 69th of 74 in the 200-meter dash (a PR of 29.70) and also ran the 400-meter dash (1:06.55) at the Gotham Cup (Jan. 17)…Had a big day at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 19), setting a program record with the Mixed 4x400 team (4:05.42, third of seven), qualifying for the finals in the 60-meter dash (9.22, sixth of nine) before finishing sixth of seven in the finals (a PR of 9.09), placing ninth of 10 in the shot put (a PR of 6.68 meters) and finishing fourth of four in the high jump (a PR of 1.30 meters).
 
Cross Country 2024: Served as one of the Scarlet Raptors’ co-captains…Named the NJAC Women’s Runner of the Week on Oct. 28 after posting a 5K PR of 22:50.0 at the Haverford Invitational on Oct. 25, leading the Scarlet Raptors and finishing 45th of 61 overall…Added a 6K PR of 26:45.1 to lead the Raptors and finish 64th of 111 overall at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Nov. 2)…Competed in all six Rutgers-Camden meets, leading the team four times…Paced the Rutgers-Camden team in the 5K Philadelphia Cross Country Classic Sept. 7 (24:34.50) while finishing 30th of 71 overall…Running hurt, finished sixth on the team and 177th of 180 (41:42.62) at the 6K Osprey Open (Sept. 14)…Led the team at the 6K Highlander Invitational (29:05.2) and finished 16th of 66 overall…Placed third on the Raptors and 78th of 121 overall at the 6K Border Battle (30:11.4) on Oct. 19.
 
Outdoor Track 2024: Captured New Jersey Athletic Conference Second Team honors in the heptathlon, finishing second of four athletes in the event with 3,157 points at the NJAC Championships May 4-5…Opened her season at the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival (April 6) by finishing 15th of 28 in the 400-meter dash (a PR of 1:06.11)…Competed in her first heptathlon at the TCNJ Invitational (April 11-12), finishing 11th of 13 with 2,651 points)…In that heptathlon, placed 12th of 13 in the 100-meter hurdles (22.26), eighth of 13 in the high jump (1.41 meters), 11th of 13 in the shot put (6.66 meters), 11th of 13 at 200 meters (30.68), 11th of 12 in the long jump (a PR of 4.21 meters), ninth of 12 in the javelin (19.27 meters) and fourth of 11 at 800 meters (2:37.24)…Finished 48th of 67 at 400 meters (1:06.14) and 65th of 98 at 800 meters (2:36.83) at the Paul Donahue Invitational (April 20)…in the heptathlon at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, set a PR in every event except the long jump, finishing first of four athletes at 8000 meters (2:35.17), second of four in the high jump (1.47 meters), the shot put (6.96 meters) and the javelin (23.28 meters) and fourth of four in the 100-meter hurdles (18.83), the long jump (4.18 meters) and the 200-meter dash (29.72).
 
Indoor Track 2023-24: Competed in seven indoor meets, starting with the FastTrack Opener (Dec. 1), when she finished 13th of 23 with a PR of 2:37.55 at 800 meters and also ran on the 4x400 team, which placed 14th of 14 (4:54.13)…At the Bow-Tie Invitational (Dec. 8), finished 11th of 32 at 800 meters (2:38.37), 15th of 26 in the mile (6:05.93) and fifth of 13 with the 4x400 team in a PR of 4:40.73…Notched a PR of 1:29.46 while finishing 29th of 39 in the 500-meter dash at the St. Thomas Invitational (Jan. 12)…Ran at 800 meters (17th of 35, 2:44.94) and in the mile (23rd of 38, 6:01.96) at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 20)…At the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 3), finished 19th of 37 at 800 meters (2:41.92) and broke six minutes for the first time in the mile, finishing 14th of 24 with a PR of 5:58.26…Ran with the 4x400 team at the all-division FastTrack National Invite (Feb. 9), finishing 12th of 12 (4:52.64)…Placed 12th of 13 in the mile (6:14.01) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 19).
 
Cross Country 2023: Served as the team co-captain and led the Scarlet Raptors’ team in six of her seven 6K races…Finished 101st of 133 overall at the season-opening Osprey Open on Sept. 16, posting a time of 31:13.1…Ran a 6K time of 31:36.01 at the Dan Talbot Open (Sept. 29), finishing 35th of 74…Finished 39th of 74 in a time of 31:27.7 at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial (Oct. 7)…Finished ninth of 33, running a 30:54.417 clocking, at the Cairn Cup (Oct. 11)…Placed 45th of 51 in 28:56.2 at the Border Battle (Oct. 14)…Ran her best 6K time of the year, 28:54.05, and finished 45th of 91 at the Last Chance Run Fast meet on Oct. 20…Finished second on the Raptors and 78th of 102 overall at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 28), posting a 31:28.0 time.
 
Outdoor Track 2023: Did not compete.
 
Indoor Track 2022-23: Competed in two meets, beginning with the Fasttrack Season Opener (Dec. 2), where she finished 24th of 30 in the mile (6:02.65)…Also ran the 400-meter dash for the first time, competing at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 4) and finishing 46th of 46 (1:41.34).
 
Cross Country 2022: Made her collegiate debut at the TCNJ Invitational (Sept. 23), posting a time of 28:42.20 to finish 48th of 73 overall…Placed 26th of 58 (28:32.5) at the Dan Talbot Open (Oct. 1)…Posted a time of 27:48.4 to finish 241st of 319 runners at the Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 15)…Finished 60th of 102 runners at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 29), posting her top 6K time of the season (27:45.5).
