Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Jayden Deleon posted one of the top Division III high jumps in the nation and earned a trip to the NCAA Div. III Indoor Track & Field Championship during his first collegiate season. He also set the Rutgers-Camden high jump record.
 
Program records: Indoor Track – High Jump, 2.09 meters at the TCNJ Last Chance Meet, March 1, 2026; Outdoor Track: High Jump, 2.06 meters (twice) at the NJAC Championships (May 3, 2026) and at the Widener Final Qualifier (May 11, 2026).
 
Indoor Track: NJAC Second Team…NCAA Div. III Indoor Track & Field Championship qualifier…High jumper who set or tied the Rutgers-Camden program record on three occasions…Opened his collegiate career finishing second of 25 in the high jump at the Fasttrack Season Opener (Dec. 5), setting a new Rutgers-Camden program mark of 2.05 meters…Tied his school record of 2.05 meters and finished second of 16 in the high jump in his next meet, the Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 12)…Placed fourth of 23 (1.99 meters) at the Gotham Cup (Jan. 16)…Finished first in a field of 18 high jumpers (1.98 meters) at the Widener Schuylkill Showcases (Feb. 1)…Tied for ninth of 15 (1.90 meters) at the Fastrack National Invitational (Feb. 6)…At the Widener Indoor Classic (Feb. 14) finished eighth of 27 (2.00 meters)…At the New Jersey Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 27), earned NJAC Second Team honors by finishing second of 17 in the high jump (2.03 meters)…Broke his own program high jump record (2.09 meters) and finished second of eight at the TCNJ Last Chance Meet (Mar. 1)...At his first NCAA Div. III Indoor Track & Field Championship, competed despite an injury and tied for 14th of 18 competitors (1.98 meters).
