Biography

Lindsay Bone earned varsity letters during all three seasons in her first year at Rutgers-Camden in 2016-17. A transfer from Rowan College at Gloucester County, she was a member of the cross country team and both the indoor and outdoor track teams. After earning her second Rutgers-Camden letter in cross country during the 2017 campaign, she returns to the indoor track program this winter.
 
A fine student in the demanding major of Nursing, Bone earned a berth on the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the 2016 Fall semester.
 
Cross Country 2017: Competed in five 6K races for the Scarlet Raptors…Finished sixth on the team at both the Bill Fritz Invitational on Sept. 16 (45:44.92, 103rd of 109 overall) and the NJAIAW Championships Sept. 23 (36:42.20, 132nd of 152)…Posted a 39:10.4 clocking at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial race on Oct. 7, placing 65th of 82 overall and eighth on the Scarlet Raptors…Finished seventh on the team and 236th of 239 overall with a time of 35:26.9 at the Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 14)…Placed eighth on the Raptors and 90th of 100 (36:22.85) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships (Oct. 28).
 
Outdoor Track 2017: Competed in the 1,500-meter run at five outdoor meets, while also adding the 800-meter run at her season-opening Golden Rams Invitational (March 25)…Posted a 3:34.53 time in that 800 and also ran a 7:13.66 at 1,500 meters, placing 29th of 29 in both events…Finished 17th of 18 at 1,500 meters (7:14.29) at the Stockton Invitational (April 1), 16th of 16 (7:19.45) at the Oscar Moore Open (April 8) and 92nd of 93 (a PR 7:04.07) at the Widener Invitational (April 22)…Finished 28th of 28 in the 1,500-meter run (7:15.70) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 7).
 
Indoor Track 2016-17:  Competed in the mile run at six indoor meets, while also running once apiece at 800 meters and 1,000 meters…Set personal bests in both the mile (6:36.70, finishing 14th of 24) and at 800 meters (3:29.86, placing 15th of 18) at the season-opening Bow-Tie Classic (Dec. 3)…Finished 26th of 28 in the mile (7:25.79) at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (Dec. 9) and 37th of 40 in the mile (7:51.34) at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 21)…Ran both the mile (7:41.16, placing 10th of 10) and the 1,000 meters (4:23.43, seventh of seven) at the Widener Field Meet (Jan. 27)…Finished 41st of 42 in the mile (7:39.99) at the St. Joseph’s College Invitational (Feb. 11) and 19th of 19 at the NJAC Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 20) with a 7:23.08 clocking.
 
Cross Country 2016: Raced in all eight meets for Rutgers-Camden, finishing everywhere from fourth to sixth on the team…Placed fourth on the Raptors at the first two meets of the season, 5K events including the Bryn Mawr Invitational Sept. 1 (29:48.2, 76th of 92 overall) and the Philadelphia Metropolitan meet Sept. 10 (33:15.0, 77th of 82)…Placed fifth on the team and 131st of 148 overall (33:52.90) at the 6K Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Invitational Sept. 17…Notched a 6K time of 34:38.32 at the NJAIAW Championships Sept. 24, placing fourth on the team and 176th of 190 overall…Posted 6K times of 36:09.8 and 33:38.6, respectively at the 6K Jack Saint Clair Memorial (Oct. 8) and the Inter-Regional Border Battle (Oct. 15), while finishing sixth on the team and 142nd of 160 the first week and fifth on the Raptors and 383rd of 386 the second week…Notched her personal best 6K time at Rutgers-Camden (33:22.82) at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships Oct. 29, placing fifth on the team and 86th of 89 overall…Was sixth on the Raptors and 302nd of 304 overall at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals Nov. 12 (33:48.3).
 
Pre-Rutgers: Attended Rowan College at Gloucester County…Lettered in both cross country and track and field.
 
High School: A multi-sport letterwinner at Arthur P. Schalick High School, graduating in 2014…Earned letters in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, soccer and softball.
 
Personal: Born September 29, 1996…Nicknamed “Linds”…Hobbies and interests include running and becoming a better individual…Nursing major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to get a job as a labor and delivery nurse…Lindsay is the daughter of Beverly and Joseph Bone of Pittsgrove.
