Biography
A transfer to Rutgers University-Camden, Steven Crespo joins the indoor track program during the 2025-26 season.
Pre-Rutgers: Competed with the Rider University indoor track program during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons…Finished third in the men’s 400-meter hurdles at the 2024 MAAC Conference Championships…Played sprint football at Chestnut Hill College.
High School: Captured two varsity letters in track and field and one letter in football at Haddon Heights High School…Played for Coaches Andrew Whitman and Mark Johnson…Earned Colonial Conference First Team and Second Team honors as a junior in track and field…Captured Principal’s List and Second Honors…Graduated in 2022.
Personal: Born April 14, 2004…Likes to ‘drive around and enjoy the little things in life by trying to have fun non-stop, as well as spending time with my loved ones”…Criminal Justice major at Rutgers-Camden…Plans to “join the state troopers for any of the surrounding states in hopes to further my career path and join a specialized unit”…Steven is the son of Mildred Izaguirre and Steven Crespo of Lawnside.
