Rutgers-Camden Athletics

A golf All-American at Union County College, Andrew Gutierrez joined the Scarlet Raptor program during the fall semester. He immediately played a huge role in the team’s success as a member of the Rutgers-Camden A Team at all six invitationals.
 
Fall 2018: Averaged 77.7 in six fall invitationals…Made his Raptor debut at the NJCU Invitational (Sept. 18), finishing fifth on the team and tied for eighth of 29 golfers, carding a round of 81…Shot an 80 at the Ursinus Invitational (Sept. 24) to tie for fourth on the Raptors and tie for 10th of 52 overall…Tied for second on the Raptors and overall out of 27 golfers by shooting a 73 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 1)…Finished second on the Rutgers-Camden team and third of 24 overall at the Stockton Invitational (Oct. 10) with a round of 76…Shot rounds of 78 at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Oct. 15) and the NEAC Fall Preview (Oct. 20)…Was fifth on the Raptors and tied for 44th of 89 at F&M, while tying for second on the team and tying for fifth of 19 overall at the NEAC Preview.
 
Pre-Rutgers: Playing for Union County College, he capped his stellar 2017-18 season by finishing eighth at the NJCAA Golf Championship in Chautauqua, New York in June…Earned Second Team All-America honors…Won the Region XIX golf championship and the Garden State Athletic Conference championship…Graduated from UCC in 2018 with a major in Spot Management.
