Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Andrew Slattery earned all-conference honors and played a major role as one of the Scarlet Raptors’ top golfers during his freshman year at Rutgers-Camden.  He averaged 84.1 in 13 rounds during the 2024-25 scholastic year.
 
A Dean’s List student, Slattery added several academic honors during his freshman year.
 
Academics: Dean’s List student and member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2024 Fall and 2025 Spring semesters…One of only 41 athletes on the 180-member 2025 Spring AD Honor Roll to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
Spring 2025: Competed in all seven rounds during the spring season for the Scarlet Raptors, averaging 85.1…Captured United East Conference Second Team honors…Opened the spring semester finishing fifth on the team and tying for 29th of 54 golfers overall with a round of 89 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Invitational (April 7)…Shot an 82 to place fifth on the Raptors and tie for 13th of 30 at the Pioneer Spring Invitational (April 10)…At the two-day Pull the Pin LBC Charger Spring Invitational (April 14-15), carded a 78-77—155 total to finish fifth on the Raptors and 24th of 40 overall…Also placed fifth on the team and tied for 56th of 65 at the F&M Spring Invitational (April 21)…Captured his United East Second Team honor with a two-day total of 85-85—170, placing third on the Scarlet Raptors and tying for 13th of 43 overall at the United East Conference Championship (April 25-26).
 
Fall 2024: Averaged 82.8 while playing all six rounds in the Raptors’ five fall invitationals…Shot an 80 in his first collegiate outing, tying for third on the team and 52nd of 99 at the Dickinson Fall Invitational (Sept. 23)…Placed fourth on the team and 22nd of 37 overall with an 88 at the United East Preview (Oct. 27)…Finished fifth on the team and 22nd of 40 at the Alvernia Invitational (Oct. 8), carding a round of 85…Shot an 80 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 21), finishing third on the team and fourth of 29 overall…Closed the fall semester at the Lancaster Bible Invitational (Oct. 27-28), shooting a two-day 82-82—164 to finished second on the Raptors and tie for 12th of 50 overall.
