Biography
Chris McDonald has been a member of the Scarlet Raptors’ golf program every semester during his collegiate career. McDonald returns for his eighth and final semester this spring after posting his best semester at Rutgers-Camden during the fall season. In 29 career rounds, he owns an 85.7 average.

Fall 2014: Competed in five of the Scarlet Raptors’ six invitationals during the fall season, posting a career-best 82.7 average in six rounds…Tied for third on the team and 26th of 79 overall at the Falcon Classic (Sept. 16), shooting an 85…Carded a 77 to finish second on the Raptors’ A Team and second overall of 20 at the Richard Stockton Invitational (Sept. 24)…Fourth on the Raptors and tied for 41st of 114 with an 80 at the Muhlenberg Invitational (Sept. 29)…Shot a two-day 89-83—172 to finish fifth on the team and tie for 49th of 64 at the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Regionals (Oct. 4-5)…Placed fourth on the team and tied for 51st of 97 at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Oct. 20), shooting an 82.

Spring 2014: Competed in five invitationals, posting an 86.6 average…Carded an 89 to finish 27th of 29 at the season-opening Myrtle Beach Invitational (March 18)…Tied for ninth of 25 overall and finished second on the Raptors’ B Team with an 84 at the Richard Stockton Invitational (March 23)…Tied his career best (set in the spring of 2012) with a round of 79 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Spring Golf Invitational (April 4), tying for the B Team lead and tying for eighth of 76 golfers overall…Shot a 94 to finish 57th of 70 at the Alvernia Invitational (April 8)…Closed his season with an 87 to tie for 32nd of 46 at the Swarthmore Invitational (April 21).

Fall 2013: Averaged 86.0 in three fall invitationals, tying for first on the Scarlet Raptors at the Richard Stockton Invitational (Oct. 9) and finishing fifth on the team at the LVC Invitational (Oct. 14) and fifth on the B Team at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Fall Invitational (Oct. 18)…In the Stockton match, shot an 80 to tie for third out of 20 golfers…Shot an 89 at both the LVC and the RU-Camden invitationals, finishing tied for 47th of 66 and 33rd of 44, respectively.

Spring 2013: Competed in five invitationals and posted an 86.6 average…Placed fifth on the Raptors and tied for 23rd of 32 overall at the season-opening Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 13), carding a 93…Shot a round of 87 at the Swarthmore Invitational (April 1), placing third on the Raptors and tying for 26th of 43 overall…His 84 placed second on the Raptors’ A team and tied for seventh of 23 overall at the Richard Stockton College Invitational (April 3)…Tied for second on the Raptors’ A team with his season-best round of 81 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Spring Golf Invitational (April 12), finishing tied for 19th of 87 overall…Posted an 88 to place fourth on the team and eighth of 10 overall in a dual match against Penn State-Abington (May 2).

Fall 2012: In his lone fall outing, shot an 86 to finish fourth on the Raptors’ A team at the Richard Stockton College Invitational (Oct. 10)…Placed 12th of 20 overall.

Spring 2012: Averaged 86.1 in seven rounds over five invitationals in the spring…Shot a two-day total of 167 (87-80) at the Penn State Harrisburg Spring Classic (April 13-14) to finish 42nd of 53 overall and fifth on the Rutgers-Camden team…Also fifth on the Raptors and tied for 23rd of 40 at the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championships (April 21-22) with a two-day total of 87-88—175…Finished first on the Scarlet Raptors’ B team and ninth of 21 overall at the Richard Stockton Triangular (March 23), shooting an 88…Also led the B team and was second of 25 overall with a career-best round of 79 at the Rutgers-Camden Quad (April 11)…Finished fifth on the Raptors and tied for 70th of 91 at the Moravian College Spring Invitational (March 29), shooting a 94.

Fall 2011: Averaged 88.5 in a pair of fall invitationals in his first semester at Rutgers-Camden…Shot a 91 in a match against Richard Stockton College (Sept. 28) to finish fourth on the Raptors’ B team and 12th of 14 overall…Finished third on the B team and 17th of 33 overall with an 86 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 17).
