After a stellar two-year career with the Rutgers-Camden golf program, Tom Schultice joined the team as an assistant coach during the 2014-15 campaign. In his first year of coaching, he watched the team capture another North Eastern Athletic Conference title, giving him that thrill as both a player and a coach.
 
A transfer who attended Burlington County College and the Golf Academy of America, Schultice spent four semesters with the Scarlet Raptors during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 scholastic years. In 28 career rounds, he averaged 81.9 and was a member of two teams that captured the NEAC championship. He has since helped to coach the Raptors to NEAC titles in 2015 and 2016.
 
During Schultice’s senior season in 2013-14, he was named the NEAC Golfer of the Week on both Sept. 30 and March 24, was the overall medalist at the Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 18, carding a 74 to finish first of 29 golfers) and captured NEAC Third Team honors by tying for 10th of 34 athletes (82-80—162) at the two-day conference championships April 25-26.
 
Schultice averaged 81.4 in 12 rounds during his 2014 spring semester, including a two-day total of 81-84—165 at the NCAA Division III Golf Championshpi (May 13-14).
 
Schultice competed in all five rounds for the Raptors during the 2013 fall semester, finishing third on the team with an 80.8 average. He led the team and tied for fifth of 97 overall at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational (Sept. 23), shooting a 74, to earn his first NEAC Golfer of the Week honor. He also finished second on the team and tied for 24th of 66, shooting an 81 at the LVC Invitational (Oct. 14).

During the 2013 spring semester, Schultice averaged 82.7 in six rounds for the second-best mark on the team. He was honored on March 25 as the NEAC Golfer of the Week following his season-opening performance in the Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 13), when he shot an 80 to finish first on the Raptors and tie for fifth of 32 golfers overall. He also tied for second on the team and second overall out of 10 golfers in a dual match against Penn State-Abington (May 2), carding a 77.
 
During his first semester at Rutgers-Camden, in the fall of 2012, Schultice competed in five rounds and averaged 83.2. He finished second on the team at both the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Sept. 17), when he shot a 78 to tie for 27th overall of 84, and at the Richard Stockton Invitational (Oct. 10), carding an 81 to finish seventh of 20 overall.
 
A 2007 graduate of Riverside High School, Schultice earned four letters in football, three in basketball and two in baseball with the Rams. He was a National Honor Society member and a two-year Academic All-County student-athlete.
 
A Business major at Rutgers-Camden who is entering the golf business as a PGA Professional, Tom is the son of Donna and Tom Schultice of Delanco.
