The son of Rutgers-Camden Head Coach Bob Cardea, Colton Cardea owns an 85.7 average in 21 rounds during his seven semesters with the Scarlet Raptor golf career. Cardea served as one of the Scarlet Raptors’ tri-captains as a junior and has returned as a co-captain during his final season with the golf team.

Fall 2018: Competed in two fall invitationals on the Raptors’ B Team, averaging 88.5…Shot an 83 to tie for fifth on the team and tie for 13th of 27 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 1)…Tied for fifth on the team and 16th of 24 overall at the Stockton Invitational (Oct. 10), shooting a 94.

Spring 2018: Averaged 86.5 in four spring invitationals…Played as an individual and shot a 94 at the season-opening Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 14), finishing 32nd of 38…Finished fifth on the A Team and 12th of 15 overall, carding an 83 at the Jefferson University Invitational (March 19)…Shot another round of 83 to tie for second on the Raptors’ B Team and tie for 15th of 46 overall at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational (April 9)…Tied for third on the B Team and ninth of 26 overall at the Stockton University Invitational (April 11).

Fall 2017: Averaged 84.3 in three fall invitationals….Placed third on the B Team and tied for 13th of 22 overall with an 87 at the Stockton Invitational (Oct. 1)…Carded an 84 to finish fifth on the A Team and 14th of 44 overall at the Penn College Invitational (Oct. 10)…Round of 82 tied for seventh of 29 overall and was third on the Raptors’ B Team at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 30).

Spring 2017: Averaged 88.0 in four spring rounds…Shot a 90 to finish fourth on the B Team and tie for 29th of 33 overall at the season-opening Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 15)…Carded an 81 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational, finishing third on the C Team and tying for 12th of 33 overall…Placed fifth on the Raptors’ B Team and tied for 18th of 28 at the Stockton Invitational (April 5)…Played as an individual and finished 18th of 19 in a dual match against Wesley College (April 19).

Fall 2016: Competed in two invitationals with the Rutgers-Camden B Team, averaging 81.5…Finished second on the B Team in both outings…Shot an 82 and tied for eighth overall out of 25 at the Stockton Invitational (Oct. 12)…Tied for eight of 39 overall at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 24), carding an 81.

Spring 2016: Averaged 85.8 in four rounds, twice playing as an individual and twice as part of the Rutgers-Camden B team…Finished 38th of 40 overall as an individual at the season-opening Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 16), carding a 95…Shot an 89 and finished third on the B team and tied for 12th of 22 overall at the Stockton Invitational (March 30)…Tied for first on the B team and tied for fifth overall of 61 golfers, shooting a 78 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational (April 4)…Closed his season playing as an individual at the Messiah Falcon Classic (April 19), shooting an 81 to tie for 24th of 80.

Fall 2015: Averaged 82.5 in two rounds during his first collegiate semester, playing with the Raptors’ B Team both times…Carded a 12-over par 83 to finish second on the Raptors’ B Team and tied for fifth of 20 overall at the Stockton Invitational (Oct. 7)…Led the B Team and tied for 17th of 73 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Invitational (Oct. 26), shooting a 12-over par 82.
