Biography

During the two years that Kevin Anderson has been a member of the Rutgers-Camden golf program, the Scarlet Raptors have earned a pair of North Eastern Athletic Conference championships and played in two NCAA III Championships. Anderson will be trying to make it 3-for-3 this spring as he returns for his final semester of collegiate competition. He owns an 83.2 average in 30 collegiate rounds.

Fall 2014: One of only three Scarlet Raptor golfers to compete in all seven rounds over six invitationals in the fall season…Posted an 82.7 average…Shot his best round with a 77 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Fall Invitational (Oct. 17), leading the A Team and tying for 10th of 87 overall…Placed fifth on the team and tied for 42nd of 79 overall with a season-opening 88 at the Falcon Classic (Sept. 16)…Carded an 83 to finish third on the Raptors’ A Team and fourth overall of 20 at the Richard Stockton Invitational (Sept. 24)…Placed third on the Raptors at both the Muhlenberg Invitational (Sept. 29) and the two-day ECAC Mid-Atlantic Regionals (Oct. 4-5)…Shot a 79 at Muhlenberg to tie for 33rd of 114 golfers…Carded an 81-88—169 at the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Regionals, tying for 43rd of 64…Closed his season at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Oct. 20), finishing fifth on the Raptors and tying for 56 of 97 with a round of 83.

Spring 2014: Competed in 11 rounds over nine invitationals…Averaged 81.7…Earned All-NEAC Third Team honors, posting a two-day score of 163 to tie for 13th of 34 as the Raptors won the NEAC Championships (April 25-26)…Carded a two-round total of 78-81—159 at the NCAA Division III Championships (May 13-14) to finish second on the Rutgers-Camden team…Also placed second on the Raptors and tied for 28th of 85 at the Franklin and Marshall Invitational (April 14), shooting a round of 78…Finished third on the team at both the Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 18) and the York Invitational (March 24), carding rounds of 81 and 83, respectively…Tied for 10th of 29 at Myrtle Beach and tied for 50th of 83 at York…Tied for 22nd of 76 and finished fourth on the Raptors’ A Team at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Spring Golf Invitational (April 4), shooting an 83…Shot a 91 to tie for 51st of 70 at the Alvernia Invitational (April 8)…Placed second on the team and tied for 28th of 85 with a round of 78 at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (April 14)…Finished ninth of 24 with a round of 82 at the Keuka Invitational (April 17)…Carded a 79 to tie for second on the Raptors and tie for ninth of 46 at the Swarthmore Invitational (April 21).
 
Fall 2013: Competed in four rounds during the fall season, posting an 81.8 average, fourth on the team…Finished third on the Raptors and tied for 17th of 97 overall at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational (Sept. 23), carding a 78…Was fifth on the team with a round of 92, finishing 63rd of 87 overall at the Muhlenberg Fall Invitational (Sept. 30)…Carded an 81 to lead the Raptors’ B team and tie for eighth of 20 golfers at the Richard Stockton Invitational (Oct. 9)…Finished second on the team and fourth of 44 overall at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Fall Invitational (Oct. 18) with his season-best round of 76.
 
Spring 2013: During first semester at Rutgers-Camden, competed in eight rounds over six matches…Averaged 86.4…Made his Raptor debut shooting an 81 as an individual golfer, tying for ninth of 32 at the Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 13)…Broke into the A team’s starting lineup against Richard Stockton College (April 3) and shot a 91 to finish tied for 19th of 23…Tied for second on the team and 19th of 87 overall, shooting an 81 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Spring Golf Invitational (April 12)…Finished second on the team and tied for 21st of 53 overall, carding an 84 at the Muhlenberg College Invitational (April 22)…Finished fifth on the Raptors and 23rd of 34 overall with a two-day total of 173 (85-88) as Rutgers-Camden won the NEAC Championships (April 26-27)…Fifth on the team and tied for 206th of 210 with a 93-88-181 at the NCAA Division III Golf Championship (May 14-15).
