Lucas Kunkel owns a career average of 87.4 over 13 rounds at Rutgers-Camden. He competed in nine of those rounds during the 2021-22 scholastic year as a member of the Scarlet Raptors’ starting lineup.
 
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2020 Fall, 2021 Spring, 2021 Fall and 2022 Spring semesters…Dean’s List student.
 
Spring 2022: Competed in four of the Scarlet Raptors’ five invitationals, posting an 89.0 average over five rounds…Shot a two-day total of 92-96—188 at the United East Conference Championships (April 23-24), finishing fifth on the team and 32nd of 40 overall…Opened the season placing second on the Raptors and tying for sixth of 18 with a round of 83 at the Stockton Invitational (March 23)…Shot an 88 to place third on the team and tie for 41st of 46 at the Stevenson Spring Invitational (April 4)…Finished second on the team and ninth of 18 with a round of 86 at the PSU-Abington Invitational (April 11).
 
Fall 2021: Participated in all four invitationals for the Scarlet Raptors, placing third on the team twice and fourth on the team during the other two outings…Shot an 84 at the first and last invitational of the fall semester to place third on the team at both the Stockton Invitational (Sept. 21, tying for fourth of 14 overall) and the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Invitational (Oct. 25, tying for 13th of 42 overall)…Shot an 87 to place fourth on the team at the United East Preview (Oct. 4, tied for 13th of 19)…Shot a 94 to finish fourth on the Raptors and 72nd of 74 at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Oct. 18).
 
Spring 2021: Averaged 85.0 in two rounds…Shot a 91 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational (April 5) to tie for 18th of 25 golfers…Tied for fourth on the team and tied for 11th of 31 overall at the NEAC Preview Tournament (April 14), shooting a round of 79.
 
Fall 2020: Season cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Spring 2018: Notched a round of 80 in his lone spring outing to tie for second on the Raptors’ B Team and 12th of 38 overall at the Myrtle Beach Shootout (March 14).
 
Fall 2017: Played one round in the fall…Carded a 92 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 30), placing fifth on the C Team and tying for 22nd of 29 overall.
