Reid Walker finished his junior year by posting the finest semester of his Rutgers-Camden golf career, averaging 79.7 in seven rounds, dropping his career average to 83.7 over 35 rounds. He has improved his average every semester of his career.
Walker led the Scarlet Raptor team in two of its five invitationals during the spring 2025 semester. He capped his semester by earning All-Conference First Team recognition at the United East Conference Championships.
A Dean’s List student in the classroom, Walker has added numerous academic honors.

Spring 2025: United East Conference First Team…Named Rutgers-Camden’s Raptor of the Week on April 14…Opened the semester shooting an 81 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Invitational (April 7) to finish second on the team and tie for 14th of 54 golfers…Led the Scarlet Raptors with a 75 at the Pioneer Spring Invitational (April 10), tying for the lead among 30 golfers, but missing medalist honors on a match of cards…Shot a two-day total of 77-85—162 at the Pull the Pin LBC Charger Spring Invitational (April 14-15), finishing second on the team and tying for 12th of 40 golfers overall…Placed third on the Raptors and tied for 39th of 65 overall with a round of 77 at the F&M Spring Invitational (April 21)…Capped his fine semester by leading the Scarlet Raptors at the United East Conference Championship (April 25-26)…He shot an 81-82—163 to finish sixth of 43 golfers overall and earn United East First Team honors.
Fall 2024: Averaged 80.5 while playing in all six rounds the Raptors played over five invitationals…Opened the season with a 78 while finishing second on the Raptors and tying for 36th of 99 overall at the Dickinson Fall Invitational (Sept. 23)…Finished third on the team and tied for 18th of 37 overall, shooting an 85 at the United East Preview (Oct. 7)…Carded an 82 at the Alvernia Invitational (Oct. 8), placing fourth on the Raptors and tying for 13th of 40 overall…Finished second on the team and third of 29 overall at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Golf Invitational (Oct. 21), shooting a round of 78…Led the Raptors at the season-ending Lancaster Bible Invitational (Oct. 27-28), shooting a two-day total of 78-82—160 to tie for seventh out of 50 golfers.
Spring 2024: Averaged 82.3 in seven spring rounds…Led the Rutgers-Camden team in three invitationals and finished second on another occasion…Opened the spring leading the team at both the Lebanon Valley Invitational (March 25, carding a 79 to tie for 14th of 88 golfers) and the Albright Spring Invitational (March 27, shooting an 81 to tie for fifth of 45)…Placed second on the team and tied for 12th of 46 overall at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Golf Invitational (April 1)…Led the Raptors with a round of 76 to tie for 14th of 70 golfers at the Dickinson College Invite (April 14)…Shot an 87 at the F&M Spring Invitational (April 15), placing fourth on the team and tying for 46th of 69 overall…At the two-day United East Championships (April 27-28) shot an 85-83—168 to place fourth on the team and 21st of 45 overall.
Fall 2023: Averaged 85.0 in three fall invitationals…Tied for second on the team and tied for 21st of 43 overall at the United East Preview (Sept. 26), shooting a round of 89…Placed third on the Raptors and tied for 41st of 67 overall with an 84 at the F&M Fall Invitational (Oct. 16)…Closed the fall semester with an 82 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Invitational (Oct. 23), tying for third on the team and tying for fourth of 19 overall.
Spring 2023: Won the Barry M. Millett award as the team’s Most Dedicated Player…Played in all eight spring rounds, averaging 85.5…Shot an 86 at the season-opening Lebanon Valley Invitational to place third on the team and tie for 34th of 90 overall…Finished fourth on the team and tied for 15th of 26 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Invitational (April 3), shooting a 93…Carded a two-round 84-80—164 at the Swarthmore DuPont Invitational (April 10-11) to finish second on the team and tie for 29th of 59 overall…Shot an 87 at the F&M Spring Invitational (April 17) to tie for 44th of 65 overall and place third on the Raptors…Finished fourth on the team and 27th of 44 at the United East Conference Championships (April 29) with a two-round score of 85-83—168…Tied for fourth on the team and 12th of 24 overall with an 86 at the Roadrunner Classic (May 8).
Fall 2022: Averaged an 93.8 in four rounds during the fall…Placed third on the team tied for 18th of 36 golfers at the United East Preview (Sept. 27), shooting a round of 86…Carded another 86 in a dual match against Stockton (Oct. 10) to place fourth on the Raptors and fifth of 12 overall…Had his worst day of the fall with a 108 to finish fifth on the team and 58th of 58 golfers at the F&M Fall Invitational (Oct. 17)…Closed the season shooting an 95 to place fifth on the team and 23rd of 26 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Invitational (Oct. 24).
High School: Earned three varsity tennis letters at Palmyra High School…Graduated in 2022.
