Biography
Scott Potter broke into the Scarlet Raptors’ starting lineup during his second semester with the Rutgers-Camden golf program last fall. Already a North Eastern Athletic Conference academic honoree, Potter returns to the team for his third semester this spring. In eight career rounds, he owns an 86.5 average.

all 2014: Competed in five rounds over four fall invitationals…Tied for third on the team and 26th of 79 overall with an 85 at the season-opening Falcon Classic (Sept. 16)…Fifth on the A Team and tied for eighth of 20, carding an 86, at the Richard Stockton Invitational (Sept. 24)…Finished fourth on the Raptors and tied for 47th of 64 at the two-day ECAC Mid-Atlantic Regionals (Oct. 4-5), shooting an 84-87—171…Finished the season with a round of 85 to place fifth on the A Team and tie for 34th of 87 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Fall Invitational (Oct. 17).
Averaged 88.3 in three spring invitationals…Honored as a North Eastern Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete…Made his Scarlet Raptor debut at the Richard Stockton Invitational (March 23), carding a 93 to finish fifth on the Rutgers-Camden B Team and 21st of 25 overall…Shot a round of 86 at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptors Spring Golf Invitational (April 4), tying for 33rd of 76 golfers…Finished third on the Raptor B Team and 31st of 46, carding an 86 at the Swarthmore Invitational (April 21).
High School: Earned three letters apiece in cross country and track for Coach Ken Halla at Broad Run High School.
Personal: Born January 12, 1981…Political Science major at Rutgers-Camden who is a Dean’s List student…Member of the U.S. Air Force…Scott and his wife Kimberly have three sons, Nicholas, Gabriel and Alexander…Scott is the son of Daniel and Susan Potter of Ashburn, Virginia.
