Rutgers-Camden Athletics

Zaki Zahid Maqbool joined the Rutgers University-Camden golf program near the start of the 2021 fall semester and played in six invitationals during the 2021-22 scholastic year. He averaged 97.3.
 
Academics: Dean’s List student for six consecutive semesters (Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Fall 2021, Spring 2022)…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2021 Fall and 2022 Spring semesters.
 
Spring 2022: Played in three invitationals, averaging 93.3…Shot a round of 94 at the season-opening Stockton Invitational (March 23) to place fifth on the team and 13th of 18 overall…Finished fourth on the Raptors and 45th of 46 at the Stevenson Spring Invitational (April 4) with a round of 95…Shot his best round of 91 to finish fifth on the team and tie for 12th of 18 at the PSU-Abington Invitational (April 11).
 
Fall 2021: Participated in three of the Raptors’ four invitationals, finishing fifth on the team at each outing, while averaging 101.3…Joined the team in time for the Raptors’ second fall invitational and shot a 99 in his collegiate debut, placing 17th of 19 at the United East Preview (Oct. 4)…Carded a 97 to place 73rd of 74 at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Oct. 18)…Closed the semester with a 108 round to finish 35th of 42 golfers at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Invitational (Oct. 25).
