Biography
A graduate student at Rutgers-Camden, Jazmin Brown played two seasons with the Scarlet Raptors’ soccer program, appearing in 35 games and starting 18. Brown played her undergraduate soccer career at Saint Peter’s University, where she earned four letters and appeared in 36 games. She combined for four goals, one assist and nine points for her overall collegiate career.

Academics: New Jersey Athletic Conference Academic Honorable Mention for the 2024-25 scholastic year…Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2023 Fall, 2024 Spring and 2024 Fall semesters…Dean’s List student…One of only 30 athletes on the 138-member 2024 Spring AD Honor Roll to earn a perfect 4.0 GPA…One of only 23 athletes on the 167-member 2024 Fall AD Honor Roll to earn a 4.0 GPA.

Soccer 2024: Played in all 19 Scarlet Raptor games, starting 16…Notched two goals for four points, including one game-winning goal…Took 24 shots, 12 of them on goal…Opened the season with a goal only 1:05 into the game in an eventual 1-1 tie against Salisbury in the Seahawk Classic at St. Mary’s College of Maryland (Aug. 30)…Scored the eventual game-winning goal in a 3-1 victory over New Jersey City (Oct. 19)…Had three shots, all on goal, in a 2-0 win over Arcadia (Sept. 24)…Also took three shots against Washington College (0-0 tie, Sept. 11)…Contributed to all six of the Scarlet Raptors’ shutouts, while starting five of them.

Soccer 2023: Appeared in 16 games, starting two…Took 11 shots, six on goal for a .545 percentage…Made her Scarlet Raptor debut contributing to a 3-0 season-opening win over Neumann (Sept. 1), while adding two shots (one on goal)…Played in all seven Raptor shutouts during the season, including her first Rutgers-Camden start, a 2-0 win over Kean (Oct. 7) in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game…Also started a 3-0 loss against NJAC and national power Rowan (Oct. 11)…Took a season high of three shots in a 0-0 tie against Albright (Sept. 6).

Pre-Rutgers: Four-year letterwinner and Biology major at Saint Peter’s University…36 career games, nine starts…Two career goals and one assist for five points…As a senior in 2022, played in 16 games and had a goal vs. Monmouth (Sept. 7)…Injured as a junior in 2021 after appearing in only one game…As a sophomore during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season (played in the spring of 2021), played in four games and led the team with three points, including an assist against Manhattan (March 26) and a goal against Sienna (March 30)…MAAC Women’s Soccer All-Academic Team from 2020-23.

High School: Played soccer at both Donovan Catholic and at Toms River North, graduating from Toms River North in 2019…Also lettered in track and field…At Donovan Catholic in 2016, named Offensive Player of the Year and earned All B-South Division First Team honors in soccer…Added New Jersey Freshman Track Javelin and Relay Event Championships…In 2017 at Toms River North, was a NJSIAA Parochial A Top 5 Sectional and Group Finalist in the javelin…In 2018 at Toms River North, earned Shore Conference All “A” South First Team honors…Helped team win the A-South championship and he overall Shore Conference championship…Captured honors as the Asbury Park Press Player of the Week…Named Offensive Player of the Year at Toms River North…Member of the Principal’s Honor List and High Honor Roll throughout her scholastic career…Graduated in 2019.
