Mendy-Keyla Tossou made her collegiate debut running in one invitational for the Rutgers-Camden cross country team during the 2017 fall season.
Academics: Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2017 Fall semester.
Cross Country 2017: Ran in the season-opening Wilmington University Cross Country Invite (Sept. 2)…Placed sixth on the Scarlet Raptors and 32nd overall out of 34 runners, posting a 31:46.42 clocking in the 5K race.
High School: Varsity letterwinner in cross country, indoor and outdoor track at Fairmont Heights High School…Second-place finisher at the 2016 Prince George’s County Cross Country Championships…Cross Country team MVP in 2016 and Most Improved honors in 2015…Earned MVP honors for Fairmont Heights’ indoor and outdoor track programs in 2017…Salutatorian…AP Scholar…Scholar of the Year as a senior in 2017.
