Biography
Charles Dalisay played at the top spot in both singles and doubles throughout his freshman season with the men’s tennis program, which was held to a small spring schedule due to the pandemic. Academically, Dalisay added numerous honors in the classroom and posted a 4.0 GPA during both semesters in the 2020-21 scholastic year.
Academics: Member of the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List student for the 2020 Fall and 2021 Spring semesters…One of only 29 athletes on the 151-member 2020 Fall AD Honor Roll to post a perfect 4.0 GPA…One of only 27 athletes on the 125-member 2021 Spring AD Honor Roll to post a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Tennis Spring 2021: Went 0-3 at first singles and 0-3 at first doubles, teaming with Andrew Yuen...In the season opener against eventual conference champion New Jersey City (March 26), lost at singles (0-6, 1-6) and at doubles (1-8)…Playing perennial conference power The College of New Jersey (April 18), was swept at singles (0-6, 0-6) and lost in doubles (3-8)…In the regular-season finale, dropped matches at singles (1-6, 1-6) and doubles (4-8) at Ramapo (April 24).
Tennis Fall 2020: Season cancelled due to the pandemic.
High School: Four-year tennis letterman at Delsea Regional High School…Earned All-Group 2 Singles and First Team All-Conference during his junior year…Graduated in the Top 10 of his class of 2020.
Personal: Born November 19, 2002…Last name pronounced “DAL-i-say”…Nicknamed “Chuck”…Hobbies and interests include watching shows and movies, hanging out with friends, watching sports and fantasy sports…Computer Science major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to work for a technology company…Charles is the son of Robert Randolph and Carmela Dalisay of Franklinville.
