A former player at Rowan College Gloucester County, Edward McWilliams Jr. manned the top singles and doubles spots during both of his seasons at Rutgers-Camden. McWilliams posted a career 2-20 mark in singles and a 3-19 doubles record, while also capturing numerous academic honors.

Tennis Spring 2024: Named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team…Posted a 1-8 record during the spring as the Scarlet Raptors No. 1 singles player…Combined with John Brady in the top doubles spot to record a 2-7 spring mark…Earned two of his victories in the final match of the season at Lehman (April 26), posting a 7-5, 6-3 win in singles and an 8-7 (7-5) doubles victory…Also won by the same 8-7 (7-5) doubles score in the spring opener against Eastern (March 22)…Dropped the singles matches against Eastern by a score of 6-7 (0-7), 2-6…Lost both singles and doubles matches against nationally-ranked The College of New Jersey (March 24, 0-6, 0-6 in singles and 1-8 in doubles), Arcadia (March 30, 6-7 (6-8), 1-6 in singles and 3-8 in doubles), Elizabethtown (April 7, 1-2, retired in singles and 2-8 in doubles); King’s (April 7, 0-6, 1-6 in singles and 0-8 in doubles); Neumann (April 12, 0-6, 0-6 in singles and 1-8 in doubles), SUNY-Oneonta (April 19, 1-6, 1-6 in singles and 1-8 in doubles) and Ramapo (April 20, 3-6, 0-6 in singles and 2-8 in doubles).
Tennis Fall 2023: Played at first singles and first doubles in the Raptors’ lone fall match, coming against Penn State-Brandywine (Sept. 17)…Lost at singles, 1-6, 0-6, and teamed with Mark Weber in a loss at the top doubles position (0-8).
Tennis Spring 2023: Went 1-8 at first singles and 1-8 at first doubles during the spring season…Notched his singles win against Arcadia on April 10 by a 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 score…Dropped a close match against Cairn on April 22, 6-2, 3-6, 7-10…In doubles, combined with Matthew Tepfer to post an 8-6 win against Cairn…Dropped close doubles matches with Tepfer against both Arcadia (6-8) and Elizabethtown (4-8, April 16).
Tennis Fall 2022: Posted a 0-3 record in singles and in doubles, playing at the top spot in every match…Dropped a 3-6, 7-5, 4-8 singles decision and a 2-8 doubles match, teaming with Hani Qureshi, at Cabrini University (Sept. 23)…In a match at Moravian University (Oct. 8), lost in singles (2-6, 0-6) and in doubles with Matthew Tepfer (1-8)…Against York College of Pennsylvania (Oct. 15), lost in singles (0-6, 2-6) and doubles (2-8), while teamed with Andrew Yuen.
Pre-Rutgers: Played fifth and sixth singles at RCGC in 2017…Went 8-0 in inter-conference matches…Earned multiple Dean’s List and Presidents List honors.
