Biography
A’Nya Stewart made her collegiate athletic debut with the Rutgers-Camden outdoor track team during the 2023 spring semester.
Outdoor Track 2023: Competed in two early-season meets in the shot put…Finished 29th of 30 with a shot put of 5.62 meters at the season-opening Stockton Invitational (March 25)…Notched her PR of 6.98 meters, placing 45th of 52, at the Danny Curran Invitational (March 31).
High School: Lettered in softball, basketball and outdoor track at Woodbury High School…Avid Student of the Year…Principal’s List…Graduated in 2022.
Personal: Born August 21, 2004…First name pronounced “Aniyah”…Nicknamed “Ny”…She is a firefighter at the Woodbury Fire Department and a counselor at the YMCA…Social Work major at Rutgers-Camden who plans to use her degree to help children in need of assistance, such as dealing with trauma and mental health…A’Nya is the daughter of Tiffany Stewart and takes care of her aunt, Monique Stewart.
